Hi Sir, Thanks for the detailed video. We got the results for the written exam on 1st December 2021 and got an intimation that PIB is likely to be in January. Considering that the process is quite delayed could you give any guesstimate as to when SSB is likely to happen? I come from the pure Gorkha tribe of Rana Magar and Sir my dad is a retired colonel of the Indian Army from the 6 Assam Regiment (not Assam Rifle which is a Paramilitary) he is a war veteran of the 1971 War. Being very less candidates recommended for SSB from PIB, so Army HQ generally does not give many slots/ options in TA commission SSB. Though u may make a request but I suggest you to avail first SSB dates to avoid any issue.

I understand it is not easy to win the confidence of a private organization/Boss but u have to do it. Moreover at that time request to Army/ TA HQ to detail u as per choices discussed with ur cuvil employer. 90 Percent cases mei manage ho jata hei. Yhi officer like quality hoti hei. Gd luck

there are two awards for TA officer during training at OTA Chennai : Netaji Subash Chander Bose Medal for overall best performance i.e Sword of Honour for regular cadet & one is for best in physical fitness category few years back, now more category of award may be added.
