Joining Bias Strips. How to Connect two Ends of Bias Tape

In this video I show you how to join bias binding ends together correctly. This way of connecting two pieces of fabric tapes will be useful for sewing single or double fold bias tapes.
Note: Do not join bias ends in a straight line.
Bias binding ends cannot be connected in a straight line. For joining ends of bias tapes together you need cut ends at 45 angle degrees.

This is a great video. I'm making a reversible wrap circle skirt that requires 7-yds of double-fold bias tape around the raw edges of the skirt. I purchased 3 pkgs of double-fold bias tape and each pkg is 3-yds. I wasn't sure how to join all the packages together for one continuous piece of bias tape but after watching your video, now I know how to do it.

Could I ask which chalk marker you are using? It looks really good. Thank you :)

I often use used soap instead of chalk. Soap marks can be easily removed from fabrics. Chalk marks are sometimes impossible to delete.
