The ending is really interesting, if you've seen the Sanctuary music video, you'll notice that at the end of the Run music video he wakes up on what I assume is the same space ship he was on. On top of that I'm guessing that picture he's holding may be of his home on Earth, and that key may be the house key. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but hey it's fun to think about Edit: Oh nevermind about the key, I think it's for the car in the foreground of the picture

I love Joji songs since BALLADS 1. But when u talk abt the improve on Joji's voice techniques, I can relate with this feeling. "Run" is already a classic (mostly because of the melody and this amazing guitar). Joji's voice warm the heart and this guitar penetrate our bones. Beauty.

I like the review, my only point to argue on is your take on adding things like live drums and instruments, although the guitar was live. You said that live instrumentation would make the track clearer and would take away the feeling of “being trapped inside a box”. I personally see that as a strong element of jojis music. The tightness creates a feeling of despair and a feeling of being out of control of your situation in some sense, which only emphasizes his aesthetic and lyrics.
