Thank you for sharing your Mom with us! I only found your journal at #58 but I'm loving it and her! Have a great time at your race! I ran my first marathon (Philadelphia) in 2014 and 2 more after that; it's an amazing experience to run 26 miles and survive! Once you've got that medal, you know there's nothing in this world that can stop you. (Every time something slows me down, I think, "I can do this. I ran a marathon, for Pete's sake!")

Hello from The Netherlands to Joji and Mum! This is the first time I saw your journal, and I enjoyed it so much. I have a whole list of your sweater and cardigan patterns I'm really excited to knit. I'm so happy a lot of your patterns seem like they will fit me, as the smallest sizes of many patterns are much too big. Such a wonderful episode-I always love seeing you and your Mom. Oh my goodness, your Mom has the magic touch-she's making leftovers look so elegant! What a pretty shawl she designed. I too love leftovers (both in yarn and cooking!) You all have such a cute new addition to the family too. I had to giggle when you were talking about your Mom running out of yarn on her visit to your sister. On the rare occasion that I go someplace to stay a bit (usually our daughter's), knitting projects get packed first, then clothes. :) Have fun with your blanket KAL!
