I dropped off listening to Neve like 8 years ago... although I loved their stuff back then. Coming back to it now... Jojo is like 10 or 20 years in the future... his playing is completely insane, I cannot believe someone (a human) can play like this in a live set.

I'm gonna cry, this is the best Nerve's performance so far. I hope to see them live someday!

I have seen Jojo from first Nerves Album early times with Tuc before on synth and trumpet. I also like the old stuff and I adore Jojo for all of his drumming. I was his student in a one week masterclass in 2006. He gave me so many impressions and he is a nice guy to talk about music. He inspred me to not think musik will not get new styles in future. I have seen Nerve every time they came to Vienna about more than 10 or 12 times. Even Nerve played once exact on my birthday. I loved it. Last show 1 year ago I also was thinking I want the old times back. BUT I see the progress, the art he is doing. He will never stop doing new things and we have to thank him for that he is not just repeating old stuff. There is the Cd to listen to and get back to old grooves. I can tell you get to see him live! he is a monster and the music is ahead in time. I thank you Jojo for years of music. He is not just a drummer, he is a musician for me too. C u at next show in Vienna!

Over 20 years ago I witnessed JOJO @ Izzy Bar live Drum and Bass and previous to that at Wetlands Screaming Headless Torsos. He's getting better with age.

Jojo is an innovator. With strong roots from his childhood. The pulse from jazz via his father (bass player).

Awesome surprise seeing all these sets up. Really wanted to attend this year but just wasn't in the cards. Was not expecting there to be an open recording situation at all. THANK YOU!!!

This, of course, is excellent percussion, but it would be a lot better if I could hear any frequencies above, say, 9000 hz. All cymbal work is barely audible.
