It seems like she clearly idolizes Colleen, and for her to dismiss the allegations as a lie because YOU know them to be kind to you, it’s not an overall generalization of who they are as a person. Colleen could easily manipulate Jojo, because of JoJo’s mindset imo

Dee hit the nail on the head with the serial killer reference. Plenty of them had great relationships with certain family members or friends and were able to hide in plain sight while also being monsters capable of inhumane acts. The same reality is true for many groomers and child predators.

Jojo wasn’t treated badly by Colleen because she was famous in her own right. She was a valuable “friend” to Colleen while all the other minors who were “friends” were essentially nobodies and just fans. Regardless jojo was also groomed by many adults in her life

You don't truly know someone's capabilities because that person themself doesn't even know, until placed in a situation.

Jojo also doesn’t want to consider that she was treated “well” yes, but that could’ve very well been due to Colleen’s awareness of her PLATFORM paired with her age at the time, and the almost constant inclusion of her mom. Had Jojo or her mother been treated like the victims in this situation, and they caught onto it - especially with how strong Jojo’s fanbase is - Colleen’s spot could’ve been blown a lot sooner.
