I started using the serum of reactivate from liiitlextra for the last month and totally switched from my previous serum since the past two months. It's been wonderfully. I just apply it one time daily with the spray pump included with the serum. It's really easy to use, non greasy, and no scent. Jojoba oil broke me out but on my hair it’s the holy grail. Saved my hair many times lol and I’m a hairstylist I have access to all products but jojoba just restores the moisture of dry hair. Leave on overnight on hair (braided) and wash the next day. Do once a week until your hair is back to life ✨

Excellent video! Over a decade ago I stumbled upon my first Jojoba in the Sonoran Desert. After identifying it, I knew I found something special that was native to AZ. It wasn't until 2 months ago I bought a bottle to aid in moisturizing and healing some reoccurring blemishes around my belly button area. Amazingly, the blemishes have stopped forming and the old have reduced to a faint sight. The last month I've been rubbing a little into my arm pits after a shower before bed. Next morning I apply a natural deodorant and after my 8 hour shift working outdoors, I'm barely stinky! Some other things that the video might not have mentioned in detail is that, like most carrier oils, jojoba oil is an excellent exfoliator. It also works wonders for small, but irritating hemorrhoids although science hasn't seemed to prove this yet. The last 2 weeks I've been drinking whey protein shakes 1-2 times a day and the relationship between whey intake leading to rising DHT (testosterone) levels which influence overproduction of sebum has brought back some acne in my prone areas. Jojoba applied as a spot treatment has seemed to counteract my sebum rise. It's been 1 week and inflammation has greatly reduced and no others have formed. I've also applied it to cat scratches and/or minor skin wounds and within days my skin has healed with all but a trace. It's truly an amazing gift from nature that I found (used) much too late in life. But now at 40, this man can say better late than never =)

Went for my six month body scan today and he found two small pre-cancer spots on my face and took them off. Just a reminder to those living in the sunbelt that you should see a Dermatologist for a body scan, especially if you’ve been a sun bather. Don’t do what I did and wait until you need a MOH’s procedure and need to have small spots removed regularly. A word to the wise - prevention and early detection are key.

Hi Dr Dray I am so glad you did this video and so glad you always say that nothing is fool proof . I have acne prone oily skin and I have used jojoba and almond oil for makeup remover on my face with no problem . I started using it as an eye makeup remover . After a few weeks my eyes started bothering me I thought I had a stye on each eye . I went to my eye doctor and they were actually clogged glands one was on my lid and one was under my lower eye( they were huge and painful) . I was on drops and also a medicine . I did tell him what I did , that was the only change in my skin care/makeup and he felt that was the culprit. As I said before since finding you I have made so many positive changes ,especially wearing less makeup . I recently purchased the colorscience tinted sunscreen and powder and eye serum , and stopped using my heavy base and concealer . Thanks so much !

Sorry off topic but why I am so mesmerize when 😍 Dr Dray's hair is on her left shoulder ( I'm a straight woman btw ) anyone notices too that Dr Dray is more beautiful each day ? Going back to the topic , one thing I learned from Dr Dray is that " not all natural are safe " true ! Just like olive oil that is extremely widely used here in Spain ( it' s cheap here and yes it's yummy haha ) but olive oil can may dry up skin in contrast to what I thought. Btw thank God Olive oil ( Spain is one of the major producers of olive) , Argan Oil ( Morocco is very near in Spain) is very cheap here in Spain almost all products here used olive oil from soap , lotion , bread spread , shampoo and conditioner , olive oil as butter , potato and veggie chips are fried with olive oil , etc. name it and olive oil has it haha ! Trivia , Many Spanish people has looong lashes (just like Dr Dray) and beautiful brows I am thinking olive oil might helped coz they put it on their salads every single day.

Dr. Dray, my pores ate stretching at a rapid rate and I have read that once the stretch, they don't go back to size. This truly alarms me because it is happening right on my nose (where one has stretched out right in the middle of it) and now theres more stretching next to it. My cheeks as well. I will wash my face with a non-comedogenic, oil free face wash and I kid you not, I will just stare at my face and literally witness another pore stretch out right before my eyes! What could be the cause of this?? I dont use any products with oil in them, but my skin has always produced an excessive amount of oil. I truly mean excessive.

If you use something that has like hyaluronic acid in it or similar what could be happening is that it's slowly purging your pores and cleaning them out. I'm not sure what your age is,but from what I saw in another video was when our pores get cleaned out it looks like our pores are getting bigger when in reality it's that they aren't full of gunk. I remember them saying as you get older our pores do kinda loosen up a bit so it's important to use products with Collagen in them to help. But no,your pores aren't getting bigger i think what might be happening is..they are just getting cleaned out. Also if your skin makes excessive oil,make sure your using the right stuff for it. Use stuff that is for "oily skin" and not dry skin...dry skin products will strip to much oil making you produce more. Just get things that are right for your skin type.

Good day Dr Dray Apparently there is a lot of hype about mugwort (artemisia vulgaris)plant for it's soothing properties Many Korean brands have formulated 100% mugwort essence Is it worth the hype???
@helenmorgan25875 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'd like to know this too. Been seeing it a lot lately in Korean brands - seems to be the next new popular thing after centella asiatica :)
@alicedsouza25285 жыл бұрын
@Kristy Kelly I guess it was used in traditional Chinese medicine therapy Have you personally experienced any soothing properties using mugwort stuff???
@amandaf56645 жыл бұрын
@Kristy Kelly I've seen that same product you are talking about and wondered if it would help with redness as it claims it does but unwilling to spend around NZD50 on it to find out :(. The Benton - Goodbye Redness is pretty good though but I'm waiting for my Cosrx to get sent to see if that is a better option as the Benton product contains Tea Tree Leaf Extract.

@Kristy Kelly Oh no not the mask, they have a "serum" or "toner" something or other. Quite a big bottle, looks like it would take a while to go through but not something I was willing to risk not only for the price but also for the irritation it could potentially cause me.

Would it be ok to use jojoba oil first as a moisturizer, followed up by OTC moisturizers? I'm "wiser" so the additional moisture is welcomed. Thank you!

I have been subscribed to you for a while and my skin already feels so much better because of the products that I replaced from my regular routine. I included a broad spectrum spf sunscreen as well. Currently I'm facing hairfall problems, maybe because of the stress issues. I have watched your past few videos and going to get myself tested if im lacking any nutrient that might be causing this.

If you get jojoba oil or rose hip oil on its own, can you mix it into a moisturizer (like Cerave) and it be effective? Since it's not advisable to put the oils directly onto skin.

Rhonda Zumbaum: Not necessary. Per Dr Dray, oils are not good moisturizers on their own. You’re better off using a moisturizer that contains jojoba oil instead of adding it to products.

I have dry sensitive skin and I like using oils on it along with my moisturiser if I feel it isn't emollient enough (usually on winter months). I've tried rosehip oil and squalane and really enjoyed them, but so far my favourite is probably marula oil. I may give jojoba oil a try once the colder season comes, thanks for making a video on it!

My take away from this is that I should be spreading a small amount of jojoba oil through my hair before I step into the shower and wash it with shampoo to help against Hygral Fatigue? Interesting. The Beauty Brains talked about this in their podcast yesterday where they had a question about letting your hair dry naturally is damaging to the hair and although no studies have been done on it they did make mention that the hair shaft does soak up water making it stretch and expand so just getting it wet causes damage.
