It actually kinda makes sense that he'd defeat Sukuna (If he did beat him, and that fight wasn't just cut short for a later reveal that actually Sukuna won and Josuke simply doesn't remember), as Sukuna only has the power of 1 finger at the moment, thus should be roughly 10-15 times weaker than during Shibuya arc

He could still fire invisible slashes from a distance, Josuke only has a 2m range therefore he needs to literally run up to Sukuna to even land a punch on him (and that’s not possible, besides Sukuna could really just back off… and funnily enough that’s what happened in the superfly fight).
