I love it how you combining stand and hamon into one. Like in the original series, breathing isn't a requirement to summon a stand, but it's a good nerf for stand ability in Kimetsu no Jojo. Also a good shoutout to hamon spirit (Stand original name)

Not really. In og JoJo's, breathing is linked to a Stand's strength, as shown in Jotaro's battle with Magician Red. So, it's not really an original thing as much as that Morcah remembered that small detail that almost never appeared again.

I mean during Deep Blue Moon fights, Jotaro could still summon Star Platinum without taking a breath. Or when Jolyne summons Stone Free underwater during the universe reset.

@@toazethegecko As Dark Blue Moon shows, you can summon a Stand IF you take a deep breath and hold it. It's not exactly like Hamon, which you can't use without breathing. It's more like you cannot use your Stand (or at least it gets weaker) if you asphyxiate. In this case, Jotaro was trapped in water by surprise, giving him no time to take a deep breath. He's asphyxiating, thus no Stand. Tl,dr: you can use a Stand without breathing, but not if you're asphyxiating

​@toazethegecko Your Stand's strength is proportional to your own. If your arm goes limp, so does your Stand's arm, and vice versa. If you're being choked, just like with your own body, the lack of oxygen will cause you to become desperate and not act with your full strength or focus. Not only that, but the water was a restraining prison. Since Jotaro couldn't move, neither could Star Platinum.

Seeing that kimetsu no jojo is catching up to the actual demon slayer series... I really hope you'll make your own ending. Imagine if all of Jotaro's friends would kill all the other upper moon demons (and nezuko just kills Muzan off-screen) so that Jotaro and Dio could fight once more. (also gojo should make another cameo)

@@therubberniton2170 I watched it in theaters thinking it was a movie. The first hour was a bunch of recap and sad flashbacks and shit. Second half was so ass basically two hashira's saving a girl, then we check up on how everyones doing, then they have a meeting and decide to train them. And the movie ends. It was by far the worst experience i've had watching in the cinema

Just to clarify Morcah, you didn't make a mistake with the "Stands need breathing", as shown when Jotaro faces Magician Red. Dark Blue Moon simply showed that you can still use your stand if you hold your breath. Something which Jotaro didn't have time to do here. So, I believe that you didn't make a mistake. Is not that you need to keep breathing to maintain your Stand, it's more like "your Stand will weaken if you asfixiate"
