However, the military told the court today that it had no objection to the start of work on the Metro from Tali Nala.
The state also said that they have no objection to the work of Metro
The government has said that moving the tram line for Metro work will not be a problem in that sense
In this context, RVNL will be able to start work on the ground floor from Tali Nala to Dharmatala only with the permission of various government departments.

Actually baal bull supriyo was pointsman for Modi to accelerate development of Kolkata. Entire metro rail network is sponsored by centre and the authority is not involving state govt as it is notorious for corruption. I know how cut money in rural bengal is hampering rapid progress sponsored by centre. Where as Orissa, Bihar and UP are progressing faster due to trustworthy state govts there. West Bengal is poor state(only few thousands of crore is collected as direct tax). It needs central govt more than southern states(I am staying in Bangalore. It is damn rich place. Entire infra is sponsored by local govt)

Thanks to didi for her vision. This whole new Kolkata metro project was her brainchild when she was rail minister. Central government just allocated taxpayers money and mind it west bengal being 14 th largest state with 2% land mass contributes 7% of India's GDP. SO KOLKATA DESERVES THIS PROJECT.
