so beautiful and peaceful! I have been canoeing there many many years ago with my brother way before packrafting at least in the way you do it was available. We did the early low weight water transportation, we had an norvegian canoe, the famous Ally. That worked out too and we did it just the same time as you did this trip, in end of August and we were lucky with bugs, of course we had some mosquitos but nothing like you seemed to have. We really had a wonderful trip and found lots of cloudberries...

Matti, it must give you a wonderful feeling of self satisfaction to have your guests contact you & want to schedule ANOTHER tour with you. And all the way from Italy. Why no Electronic Mosquito devices on hand? Another KZbinr, Norwegian Xplorer is out in some remote areas of Sarek & I watched his video yesterday. He includes a lot of footage of the Delta from high up. I see where Norwegian Xplorer decloaked & added his reply to this video. 16:07 Loved the drone footage of your campsite. 23.39 That pot of food looked so good I could smell it. 25:45 I recognized that orange handled FireSteel you used for sparks to start your fire. I haven't used a lighter or matches to start a fire for years. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Jarl is friend I watched his vid yesterday as well. Man a lot of water all over the place in Scandinavia. Others friends, Brapp TV, Mattias Erickson does motorcycle, boat and van camping tours from his home in Sweden. Lot of roads washed away. Take care.

We have many guests coming back. Especially on our dog sledding trips, so I guess we must do something right, or is it the dogs....😉🤣 The food in the pot was a stew made of home dried minced meat and different vegetables. We really like the firesteel🔥, thank you for sending it to us ❤️. Yes, Norwegian Explorer was there at the same time (I think on our day 3) keeping an eye from above 😉. /Stina (& Matti somewhere in the Rapadalen walley by foot)

Forgot to answer about the mosquito repeller. We didn't think it should be so bad this late in summer, and they had heavy loads on their backs anyway, so we didn't pack any machine this time. /Stina

Hey Matti! I really love all the videos that you and Stina are making! Beautiful scenery and really nice content. Thanks for this! I'm curious, you are often wearing a brown/grey sweater with a hoodie, its looks really nice! Is it from a particular (outdoor) brand?

Amazing trip! I still haven't managed to get to Sarek but one day! I think I'd prefer late August / September when I go though. Unique experience pack crafting down the delta though! Very cool. I also think we both have the same Bergans wind jacket? I recently got this at a very good price of 500sek (in red colour). It's extremely well made, has a practical hood that doesn't fly down in the wind, and the stitching seems robust. My last wind jacket from Solomon was a similar price yet the quality in the stitching was night and day! Absolutely terrible. Looked like a drunken child had stitched it. I'll stick to Scandinavian brands from now on...

Nice video of your trip, thank you. I find the "knott" worse than mosquitos. I don't know what it's called in English or Swedish..those very small insects that crawl into your eyes and ears in huge numbers and don't get repelled by either mosquito-repellent or the therm-a-cell...horrible creatures. But why don't you use a pee-bottle in the tent? I always bring one so I don't have to go outside at nighttime. Also impressed that you manage to get only 25-30kg's in the backpack for seven days with supplies,tent, packraft and camera gear! It's heavy, the limit for me is when it gets over 30kg's. But i'm not young anymore, 53 years. Btw, can you use a drone in national parks in Sweden? Here in Norway there are strict rules for that and not allowed many places.

Excellent video! Beautiful scenery, makes me want to try packrafting. Which weather service do you use for your tours? I always have problems to find suitable weather websites that work for exact locations in nature and not only for village or city names. How do you do it? Stina seems to have relatively accurate information about when the rain will hit you.
@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA
@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Happy you liked the video! We use a Norwegian weather service called YR. Check out yr.no. You can find all kind of specific places on their website. Even though they are really good, it has been hard to get a good and trustworthy forecast days ahead, but I'm sure it's the climate changes that make the weather so unstable and fast shifting. But the forecast is 90% correct if you look at the weather for tomorrow on the evening before. /Stina (& Matti right now hiking in Sarek)
