Wow. Sylvie is so special. She reminds me so much of Plisetskaya, my personal favorite. Both dancers are willing to push the bounderies and improvize. Maya and Sylvie leave most of the others for dead.

malgré son statut de star (et d'immense artiste !!), sylvie s'est montré extremement généreuse avec son public en se laissant filmer dans différents documentaires où on la voit travailler,repeter, suer, douter, dans l'intimité de sa loge , entre deux changements de costumes etc.....bref, toutes ces choses qu'une danseuse de sa trempe voudrait plutot garder pour elle.......MERCI SYLVIE POUR TOUT.

I saw her new production of Giselle at Lincoln Center...leave it up to La Guillem to take a true classic as Giselle to a total new level! It was a great performance, specially her second act. All the Willies had a totally different dress and the choreography was genius how she updated the whole second act...Brava Sylvie!

Congratulations ! This is within the greatest works about inner ballet I have ever seen, the Saura's " Carmen story " of ballet; however, it has an uncertain bitter taste.. maybe because it looks more as an epitaph than a film ! Above all I wonder about those priviledged pianists who play during rehearsals; what do they do when they leave theatre ? I can just imagine a tram, an umbrella, and a cat to feed at home
