I am a Korean and my husband is an Iranian. I visited Iran in 2005 for the first time and there were around 50 family members of my husband waiting for us to greet. wow I was totally shocked!!! then they treated me with all these sweets that when I left Iran after 2weeks of visit, I gained around 5kg more!! 😄😄😂😂 Iranians love sweet stuff! and they have the most delicious fruits in the world!!!!! and the iranian bread called sangyak, the most delicious bread in the world!!! I miss it so much and all iranians are so friendly to foreigners and they love to always give away things like foods and love to invite people to their homes. Iranians have beautiful homes that decorated like the palace.and Iranian ladies are very beautiful 😊

Oh my gosh! I LOVE Iranian food! We lived in Iran just before the revolution and really enjoyed our time there. The food is amazing. I had Tahchin once with a neighbor friend and I still dream of it. We had a shop down the street from us that would make flat bread in a stone oven. There is nothing more delicious than walking home with a round of flat bread (noon) that is still hot from the oven and still has small rocks in the nooks and crannies. The smell would waft through out the area. We jumped the fires on the streets at night for Nowruz threw grass into the river as we celebrated the Persian New Year. Good times.

it's probably got to do with the fact that they're doing the video with an open background behind and natural light, but it just made me feel kinda happy and warm nice in ways other Jolly videos haven't. The warm and welcoming Iranian dad Jafar saab and the absolutely adorable Sepi just made this video even more amazing and happy and chirpy! FORGET MICHELIN STAR FOOD, YOU'VE GOT TO DO MORE OF THESE VIDEOS TRYING FOOD FROM AROUND THE WORLD JOLLY! AUTHENTIC HOME FOOD! Also as an Indian there was so much that had me thinking that omg that's like something we have here too, I knew about the Zoolebia and Indian Jalebi connection already as well as the Iranian origins of Samosa (which i coincidentally just had today haha) but even the Sohan reminded me of the Indian Sohan halwa and the Gaz of the Indian brittles like Gajak that we have and the Darjeeling tea ofc from India. sends me thinking about how any more culinary connections India and Iran have (i'm sure a lot since we've had long connections through trade and rulers, but it wasn't something i had thought about so specifically until now) JUST BEAUTIFUL to see how interconnected and close different parts and cultures of the world really are, just absolutely beautiful! thankyou JOLLY and Jafar saab and Sepi, hope you're well and Nooshe jaan :)

I’m so pleased that you chose to create this video! I’m learning a lot from this. Ive explored other cultures (their food, traditions, etc) but I’ve never done so with Iran and the surrounding areas. I have to say this is one of my top 5 favorite videos - i do believe. Thank you again!

I am new to this channel, and I can't stop binge watching all your videos, I even discovered your Korean Englishman channel and have also started those as well. I can't get over how genuine you all are, some long term youtubers I find, become more commercialized and fake, but you guys just keep pouring out funny, wholesome videos everytime. I also love how you have your friends and families on all the time, it really makes you feel like we're a part of your family. Thank you for your joy, your creativity and the time and effort you put into every video. Btw I've been really wanting to try Korean food, it all looks so good, but I wouldn't know the first place to try any in southern Ontario Canada...much love❤❤😘

Loved Jafar. I’m of Russian descent and we drink tea the same way. I remember my grandmother would put the sugar cube between her teeth and then sip a glass of tea. I agree with the viewer who suggested a video with Jafar and Ollie’s dad

he's so right though, we love love LOVE the more sour lavashaks, and its a girls thing, like lavashak is the treat your boyfriend gets you if youve had an argument and he wants to talk but wants to get on your good side first, idk why but it works on most women lol also the halim thing is still the same you wake up late and theyve sold out and its gone :( its only served/sold in the mornings bc it takes the whole night to prepare and once its finished they cant make more until the next morning, its more popular in the winter bc of the weather

@@thalibrafraudster7795 sorry, I just saw your comment. most of the time lavashak regardless of the flavor (unless it's kiwi for example) are brown. but if I had to guess I'd say it's probably sour cherry because that's the most popular one!

I do not know why youtube recommended it to me after two years, but I loved it! In Azerbaijan we have exactly the same tea tradition, especially the sugar thing. We do love these iranian sweets here in Baku. But we also love to put a slice of lemon in the tea, absolutely delicious! 😻
