I love the message delivered by Manny as I watch it again to see if I saw what I thought I saw...he could have delivered it differently but I think Tatis Jr will have an appreciation for it a few years down the road. Yeah, I saw that. Not only did he avoid arguing, he kept his cool for his 4th up. That’s exactly why Machado was riding Tatís. Tatís was letting it get to him. Something else: I don’t think Tatís thought it was a bad call. I think he was mad at himself. He might have that childish ego that wants to blame others or he might not, but regardless he was letting it get to him and acting out. Tingler obviously just wanted to go home and took the first opportunity. The team needs to learn from that, how to exploit opportunities when they arise. 😆

If Tatis isn’t at his best, then they won’t even have a chance to make the playoffs. I live in a world where you have major consequences for derailing careers or doing 1000 dirty moves in baseball. Sorry, I don’t give him a pass. Respect is earned not in one moment but over a course of moments. It’s being consistent with whatever that earns the respect of your peers. Tatis could've been thrown out... Joe Yancey could've spelt Padres right in his tweet... Jomboy could've counted balls and strikes better in his breakdown...
