Its been a very frustrating 2nd half of the season for the Padres. I think it started with Tatis' lackluster ASG, he definitely wanted to show more of what he can do, hes been on and off since then and you can see him get frustrated kinda often. Nice to see Manny try to be a voice of reason, kinda, and hopefully they can pull it together

That’s all it takes for you? All the dirty slides and one that ended Dustin Pedroia’s career from a hall of fame career to a good career to career ending. And not to mention all the other dirty plays and lack of hustle, etc. He only got fired up because Tatis is the best player. If Tatis isn’t at his best, then they won’t even have a chance to make the playoffs. I live in a world where you have major consequences for derailing careers or doing 1000 dirty moves in baseball. Sorry, I don’t give him a pass. Respect is earned not in one moment but over a course of moments. It’s being consistent with whatever that earns the respect of your peers. What he did with Tatis was good for their team, but it definitely doesn’t outweigh all the things he’s done over the course of his career.
