I was so happy to see many affordable watches in your collection. I have several Pagani, both NH35 and mecha-quartz homages, and I went on an Orient kick recently and ended up with 5, second-hand Mako II and Ray II’s that were picked up cheaply enough that I could add sapphire crystals, straps, bezels/inserts to all of them to make each unique conversation pieces. I also have some Invicta, Kenneth Cole and Fossil watches that started my collection that are mostly sentimental at this point that I gifted to my son to help him start his collection.

Jody, thank you for another GREAT video. I always look forward to your SOTC video. It's always interesting to me when the three or four people I watch regularly show us what they collect. Gives us all a better idea of who you are and how you look at watches on a personal level. I've been in the hobby for 3-1/2 years and have about 60 watches, just over half being Casio watches. I fell in love with the calculator watches and currently have about fifteen in my collection. Some Seikos and others and absolutely love every one of them. Today I'm wearing my Oris big crown pointer date and love it. To me it's fun deciding what I'm in the mood to wear. Thank you again Jody for ALL you do for the4 watch community.

Very impressive yet eclectic collection, although I'm surprised you don't have more Casios being such a big fan. My collection is not so varied consisting of 48 Casios (so far!) Fairly even split between digital and analogue, my favourites are the six different coloured Duros🤪 I also have a dozen (again so far) non Casios. Easy to see where the inspiration came from for much of my very modest collection. I am adding a flieger and some wacky vintage Russian watches. Re Casio calculator watch: before I transitioned from Casino's to a Rolex in 1986, I used to go through a new Casio every few months when the rubber straps failed or the watch failed. I had a Casio digital with a touch screen for the button entry. Worked great, buttons were big enough to work UNTIL I scratched the screen. Suddenly some numbers no longer worked. Old watch in the bin, new Casiio on the wrist, moving on. Sadly I no longer have any of them

Indeed, there is always room for one more watch! But Jody, why not a single solar or kinetic powered example? Always thought that it is an excellent alternative to a battery quartz and combines "ever readiness" with accuracy. Apart from mechanical automatics and winders, battery quartz, and kinetic quartz, I have 11 solars from Seiko, Pulsar, Citizen, Casio and SKMEI. Anything under £120 I buy new, but more expensive models I buy good quality used examples at a fraction of the cost. And I still cherish my grandfathers 1905 gold IWC pocket watch!
