@emilynam6084 I wouldn't call what Collin did as ranting to the public. So many worried about how he was doing after everything he went through. He told his story which is quite different from what Mady and Kate are saying. The important thing is that he is a strong young man whose childhood experiences did not break him. He is currently in the US Marines Corp Boot Camp. You can't have a psychiatric illness and be in the military. So Collin was truthful about that. I wish him all the best. He pulled at the heart strings of so many people. So what we are seeing now on social media is a whole lot of people feeling protective over him. Mady is better off not talking about Collin in the media because people will not be kind to her. She could also shut down her social media accounts for a while too. That's life in the public eye. It's not about whether they are your family. It never works like that when you are famous

But that's only if my brother chooses to live with my Mom. My brother has to physically live with my Mom in order to continue to get child support. I believe my Mom is choosing Colleges for my brother that is close by her home. My brother right now doesn't even have a State I.D. and a passport. My Dad already sent my Mom his birth certificate but my Mom claimed that she lost it. Either she's lying about it or she really did lose it because she loses things all the time. I agree and disagree with her. Yes, it is nobody's business how she and her siblings are living, and their privacy should be respected. Even if one chooses to post on social media there are boundaries that should never be crossed. And I truly wish them well! With that said, the authorities should absolutely be contacted if a child, disabled adult, senior, or anyone else is being abused. I do think there is a difference between sincerely trying to keep people safe versus gossiping about them. I don't think it is ever acceptable to gossip or tear someone down in person or online. I am aware of the Gosselins and their TV show, but I am not a fan of "reality" shows so I don't follow them. Shame on anyone that has threatened them; it takes a special type to behave in that manner.

His mother complained about him since he was a toddler and then wrongfully institutionalized him as age 12 when his father still wanted him. He did get custody of him in high school though. The decision to send him to inpatient treatment was made by his physician and emergency room doctors after a serious outburst involving use of a weapon. It was done for the safety of himself, his family, and the family pets. His outbursts and violent behaviors still continue towards Jon, his new wife, and Hannah.

You know Collin is in Marines Corp Boot Camp? How did he get in if he has psychiatric problems and special needs?
