Jon Batiste stands as one of the most extraordinary and prolific musicians in history. His musical journey has been nothing short of remarkable. In 2018, the world recognized his brilliance as he earned a Grammy nomination in the Best American Roots category. But that was just the beginning.
Fast forward to 2020, and Jon Batiste's name was on everyone's lips. He received not one, but two Grammy nominations for his outstanding work on the albums "CHRONOLOGY OF A DREAM: LIVE AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD" and "MEDITATIONS" (a collaboration with Cory Wong). Suleika, I am 338 days from my Bone Marrow transplant, Diagnosed in 2020 with CML, three separate Chemo treatments, my condition went into blast phase with all sorts of mutations.....but I am alive and Leukemia free. I read your book and connected on so many levels. I am in the process of trying to go forward with some sort of life after three years of illness. You both have so much love that you share, love will get you through it. My husband and I have been married 60ty years in Feb and if we could be would be married another 60ty. My husband has battled cancer 3 times and he has beat it each time. Together we have gotten through it and you two can also get through this.
