I love Sim9n and Garfunkel. Always have. As a child, I had my own little record player who had a speaker built in. I would get 45's and play their hits over and over. We were poor, so sometimes it took 2 years to get another 45. I'm still poor but i have a loving family and a relationship with God that makes up for all the health and wealth in the world. I'm also handicapped. Anywho! This is the best version I have ever heard of this song. I am sorry. I know a lot of people will get mad. But it's only my opinion. I love the way they orchestrated the song. When I'm down and need to cry it out. I put this on and these 2 doing the peace. Works every single time. Thanks guys.

Sambora is immensely talented vocally. Jon is very talented vocally. The two together is Herculean, but there is only room for one head. Kind of ironic they chose a Simon and Garfunkel song. Richie’s demons got heavy. But each time I listen to him sing, he taps into my soul. I hope that he is recovering.

Great comment and I agree absolutely. Richie was very underrated. Just my thoughts, but I think Richie finally got tired of all the focus always being on Jon when Richie was playing & singing his heart out every night as well. I sure miss hearing them together though. It was one of those magical combinations that fit so perfectly. I also think that "Rolling Stone Magazine" made a mistake in snubbing Richie on the top 50 guitarists list!! That list is up for debate anyway in the placement of some of our finest.

I have yet to find anyone who can harmonize as easily and as perfectly as Richie Sambora except for Paul Simon. They both do something that so many find so hard to do. Both are great vocalists on their own, something that has been proven time and again. Richie's album he did this past year while on hiatus from BonJovi's "Because we can" tour, shows off his incredible talent for his vocals along with his songwriting skills. I really like this version of Bridge over Troubled Water and as much as I love these guys, nobody will replace Simon and Garfunkel as the best when it comes to this song. This is beautiful, no doubt about it.
