Sure miss the days when GoT was on every Sunday. We'd watch it together as a family. Now wife has passed at 50 from cancer, I've had 2 strokes and the kids moved to the West Coast far away for their jobs. Now it's just the cats and myself .Times were good then. Winter is coming

@@Friendly_Avocado really appreciate y'all. I needed that. On top of all this I am in treatment for PTSD from deployments . Panama 1989-90. Iraq 1990-91,, Bosnia 1993-95. American Cold war soldier. Was there even the wall came down in Germany. The Russians world hasn't changed since the 1980s. It's still evil. Not all Russians,. But a lot ( just like the maga/Trump ,Putin loving maga cultist, traitors here in the US ) are evil as well. Good and democracy WILL prevail. Hooah ! Scouts Out . This piece of music threw me back into images of childhood, suffering, and trauma. I had an inner completely broken when I was a very very little girl, I now recall every single one who hurt me cruelly, all of them are relatives. I have never told anyone in my life. At the age of 30, a quiet night comes with a whole illusion that brought me back to what happened to me in the long past. I feel my soul was somewhere else in the air it could fly but get lost, see myself at the peak of a cold mountain at night a bit windy, and stars in the sky looking at me like a strayed spiritual. Too many things fold in the dark with shattered inside of me. Children must be protected, secure, and to be listened. Childhood trauma never be healed be cured somewhere deep inside and at one moment come back, continuing to destroy the wall of strength that was built. .

Your writing is so poignant. Children are so much more sensitive than adults and as you say, must be protected. I remember being traumatized by things that would be considered trifling now. As children we feel so deeply and with such trepidation based on our helplessness. The things you experienced are beyond, beyond, beyond the capacity of a young sensitive soul to endure. I suppose they were perpetrated by those who were themselves abused, and lost their souls due to generational trauma, resulting in their depravity. Some people are just born bad. There’s something wrong with them. But your writing shows deep understanding which has found a way to mitigate damage done to your young psyche. You have empathy and insight. You articulate your feelings. You should be proud. I wish I could protect all children who are mistreated. I wish I could go back in time and protect you. I suppose it can be somewhat healing to know as a society that children are collectively so very fragile, and that they deserve our protection. And that we can go back into our memories and as adults embrace the hurt child with a sort of retroactive love and compassion. I hope you will be well. ❤️
