@PanthersNation11 I have nothing against Cam Newton, I just think the hype behind his Heisman season and National Championship game elevated his draft stock way to far. You better believe I want him to start over any of the other Quarterbacks we have, However as far as NFL level skills at that position go, Newton could definitely benefit by taking a year to develop, and its unfortunate that he has to be rushed into the starting role because we have nobody else that can win.

@banklikefrankwhite1 If there's a next Peyton Manning coming up on the draft (let's say he's projected as such) would you draft him, or would you settle for a Dante Culpapper (assuming that's the type of production Newton would give). We never know how Luck & Newton will perform 5 years from now, but if the team projects Luck as elite QB who would bring Super Bowl, might as well get him regardless of investment on Newton. It all depend on how they project the players.

@Scorpion603 From a long time Bucs fan who loves Dungy, I agree with you. It was painful to watch the Bucs get knocked out of the playoffs year after year by the Eagles because we could score. We had a great defense and a mediocre offense. Gruden came and the Bucs got an offense and finally beat those damn Eagles and got to the big game and won. Not sure if Dungy, with his defensive mindset, would have ever got it done here. So he got a great offence in Indy and he won the big game too. Win-Win.

Definitely not average in no way shape or form. Needs to make better decisions; but they also need to get him some more help at receiver. A lot of his picks thrown were off drops. Im Atlanta Falcon fan and this man strikes fear into deepest part of any defense. Appreciate having "The Future" as your starting QB.....
