I think this is from the early 1990s. If you're unfamiliar with the excellent Mr Hiseman, I recommend listening to his playing on the album Electric Savage by his band Colosseum II. It's from 1977; he's in stellar jazz-rock-fusion company, and the music's very, very good.🙂 Jon was married to the jazz saxophonist Barbara Thompson. Sadly, Jon died in 2018, but his brilliant music lives on.

That is the weirdest double bass pedal I’ve ever seen

It’s the first double pedal that Pearl did. The slave pedal is attached to the main pedal. If you look at the footage closely you can see where it’s bolted on.
