He uses jkd to break them down & also his stance. Close by - elbows and knees (Muay Thai) & ground - jiujitsu. Some kicks probably tkd. Fights like Bruce would. Uses all arts to create own style.😊

JKD doesn’t mean mixing styles, it’s about circumventing style. JKD means way of the intercepting fist, not “be like water”. Going from style to style isn’t formless is it? Adaptability means being able to adapt to any style, by circumventing style, by being direct and simple. These mma fighters have no clue what Bruce Lee was talking about or how he actually trained. “The majority of people who practice Jeet Kune Do are mixed up, they think it should be a part of Wing Chun, a part of MMA, a part of Thai boxing, a part of wrestling, you know, a part of Wing Chun, which this is completely incorrect. You don't go from style to style, you go from distance to target or target to distance. Longest weapon to the nearest target and the most direct and efficient route possible, that is Jeet Kune Do.” - Tommy Carruthers JKD Instructor “People fail to realize Bruce moved beyond technique. Once you understand the goal is to hit primary targets in the shortest time possible. All the fluff can be cut away. So you don't have to learn new techniques. You find better safer direct and indirect ways to attack these points. The rest of your time is spent training your body to refine this process.” - John Paul Daily JKD instructor

The difference is Joe Jones is a proven fighter and not a movie fighting star .
