Thank you you Jon Karat-Zinn, Tristan Harris and Wisdom 2.0 to have this profound and powerful conversation. We need each other on a collective level to heal, and the healing starts within each of us.

Your documentary is also required viewing for the year 10 students at my children’s high school here in Australia, & all parents were strongly encouraged to watch it too! Not sure what the equivalent year levels are world wide, but year 10 students are 15-16yos.

Extremely pleased to see those two topics being discussed alongside each other. Truly enlightening and such important topics - human consciousness and free will...

At times it really seems like all the technology makes basic mindfulness harder, not easier

We should remember that meditation and mindfulness are simply tools, they are not virtues. That one meditates does not make one well-intentioned. As a teacher passed on to me from her teacher, "A sharp shooter needs mindfulness." Hearing that a person meditates used to impact my view of them; now it's the same as what they do for a living or if they enjoy cooking. A hammer can be used to build and to murder. Motivation is everything. Why do we meditate?
