I’ve been really hard on CTG for a lot of the one-sided, not totally informed political takes but it was nice for him to have an actual greatly experienced journalist (cue the hate, especially against a white reporter) on. Also, when CTG is at his best, he is one of my fave interviewers. I still have to finish the interview but one thing I don’t get is how people always talk about Trump’s lunacy and threat to democracy but why don’t they talk about what a great economy and state of America he inherited from Obama, who inherited the worst (recession, housing crisis, gutted agencies like FEMA, remember Katrina?, and two impossible wars that Obama voted against). And then he completely and totally messed up the pandemic response, which triggered supply chain issues and passed along all that stuff to Biden. I’m with CTG in that Biden shouldn’t have been the candidate and the Dem Party and liberals are the WORST at comm and marketing but he and others could be part of the solution. Actually report on facts and legislation. I know they’d lose a lot of viewers but I bet they’d gain just as many back, if not more. Be the change you seek. Help manifest the kind of world you want for your children and maybe do that for race relations too. Focus on the good white people and then call out the bad instead of grouping everyone together. Just thoughts :I

He has a ton of good white friends (from what he’s said and also you can tell - Andrew Schultz, Pete Davidson, Mac Miller rip, Judy Blume! ☺️) but when he’s on TBC he’s always generalizing about white people and black people. When you look at both trump and Biden on face value, trump wins hands down but when you go into detail of how each president have Handel the country within their four years Biden would win but barely.
