I'm a retired postmaster and I began to really see this "death" spiral coming prior to COVID. It started with my bills arriving late which impacted my ability to pay them on time. In 2020 I began changing the way I was doing business with the USPS by switching over to having my bills received electronically. I switched to online bill paying in 2022. In 2024 I have only written about 15 checks. Unless very drastic changes are made, there will be no USPS by 2040.

I'm a Carrier in the Northeast US, and I keep my eyes on the postmarks and in May, I received mail from GA that was postmarked 5/7 and just delivered the mail piece on 5/15; Disgusting.

I live near Atlanta. The people are the problem. We hire too many worthless people in government jobs. This place is all about who you know not performance or ability. As a mail carrier in South Carolina watching the new carriers come in. The problems we're seeing is 1. The younger generation don't want to work hard 2. The pay for work ain't worth it to them 3. Amazon gets priority (plus to many packages) 4. Training on mail delivery isn't a priority. 5. management treats you really bad

He and his fellow democrats have some responsibility for our country’s illegal immigration disaster. On Feb 26, 2024 he blamed Trump for Laken Riley’s death. Regarding USPS, we are not getting mail reliably and mail was being stolen by USPS employees. This has been going on for over a year and Ossoff told us early in 2024 he’s on it. Ossoff should be holding the PRC accountable too. I could go on and on. He’s worthless.
