@@Derf1OO Ahahaha, nah nah, it’s one of the roots of where the genre began; it’s a play on words referencing the Commadore 64, an old computer that once competed with Mac and Windows in the early computing era. One of its strong points over the two was the sound chip it had, which early programmers used to start a musical genre called: Chiptune, among a few others. I've been a fan of his since I first discovered 8 out of 10 cats around 2013ish and others such as, Jimmy Carr, Sean Lock, and Joe Wilkinson have become my favorite comedians and I'm American. John, you should tour the southern United States and I'm not talking about Florida, I mean the REAL south in the Tennessee Mountains, Appalachia and learn our language and make fun of it 😂 Oh and bring your wife too, because she's hilarious!!😂

If you enjoy Sean Lock and Jimmy Carr, etc... I recommend Daniel Sloss. He's a Scottish comedian and he's got a couple of Netflix specials, watch them in order as he references back to the first one during the second. If you can be bothered, please let me know what you think? Enjoy. 😂

@@cherokeestormchaser3259 Now I'm going to be curious to know if you like him? I took my 22 year old daughter to see him early last year in Melbourne, Australia. He sold out every night and had to add more shows. We both laughed so much , one of the best comedians I've seen live... And I've seen a lot. We have the Melbourne International Comedy Festival annually and it attracts some big international comedians. We're very lucky.

Some people just... don't find him funny? I mean I suppose some take it further and say outrageous things, but most are just saying exactly what I'm thinking: 99% of this vid is him telling a story that isn't all too interesting, and he fitted in a couple of ok punchlines, and... that's it. He's funnier when bouncing off others, this gig just ain't it.

I’m still a fan of the double space tbh! I often sight-read aloud as part of my job and it makes skimming text so much easier when you can easily see sentence breaks way ahead. I tend to do far less re-reading and can just make sense of text more quickly. I’m neurodivergent so not sure if it’s that, but it definitely helps me - and perhaps others like me?

@@wokelefty Yeah and I am not pretending to be. Whilst this man is supposed to be a professional funny man? If I watch Kevin Bridges he has 10,000 people with thunderous laughter. All I heard here was a couple of dozen women who seemed to giggle at every line. If Jon Richardson left out the swearing you could take your Great Granny to watch him like George Formby before him. He was just about as amusing your avatar.

The problem is, it's not that people dislike him at all. He just isn't funny. Replay the laughter at 2:43. It just sounds so fake. Diminishing in volume as it disappears. I swear media/s push certain types of comics forward to appease the brainless reality TV masses.
