Great idea for a video! I was surprised that your interests were so different than my own, other than the few channels we share a liking of. Adam Savage Tested (the OG) your channel would make a great companion channel to his. Varied interests and a hardware store of supplies in the background. Another OG - Scoutcrafter (I think I stumbled on his channel real early any have learned more from that channel than any other I watch. Mr. Pete is a wealth of knowledge - I have no interest in lathes or milling machines but I came for the deep knowledge and stay for the crankiness! I lived in France (on the Italian border) when I was in university. And have been back a few times. Such a great part of the world. I'll be checking out ItalianProperties and Stories from the Casina

I’m fascinated by metalworking and my new favorite channel is Make It Custom. Carl Fisher is a great teacher and I especially love that he shows how to build metalworking tools and the techniques behind his craft. I cannot recommend him too highly. Genuinely nice guy, and a brilliant craftsman.

I really like ConnectionsMuseum - it is an amazing live museum in Seattle where they are preserving telephone switches and other telephone equipment from the earliest days. They explain how all the equipment works, and the restoration process and their challenges in doing so.

I already subscribe to many of these channels, the others I will definitely check out. We have many of the same interests. The Rick Rubin channel looks terrific. The last few tracks he recorded with Johnny Cash are amazing. Rubin definitely pulled some deep hidden emotions out of Cash, unbelievably good!

My channel is not worth watching....Now that I have your trust, may I suggest Jonathan W , ( Steam engines and home built tow trucks) Bricked to Perfection ( A fantastically edited reviewer.....Let the rest be a surprise..the filming is amazing) Low Buck Garage ( He is fitting old parts to new applications, working with a minimal budget but endless horse sense ) ........and don't forget Jimmy DiResta.
