I love how Jon and TDS have no problem calling out and poking fun of the Dem when the situation merits. So refreshing to have this kind of honesty and self-awareness compared to the other side which handles any and every failure and screwup with lies, spins, obfuscation, and whataboutisms. This show has more integrity than most of the media outlets.

That's a valid point, but he was very much exaggerating and taking these quotes out of context and making a lot of them look much worse than they were. The billionaire following Bernie _was_ pretty hilarious though.

as much as the democrats are miles better than republicans on almost every issue, their messaging and media coverage is almost as intolerant of criticism or dissenting opinions than the right is. Just look at the treatment of palestine supporters at the DNC, ignored and hidden out of fear that they might make the party look bad. They don’t invite differing ideas and civil disagreement, they propagandize, because Americans politics is just marketing, and you’re right, few people are brave enough to talk about the issues and criticize the party even when it’s not convenient like Jon is.

He has said that at his highest aspiration, he is a comedian. A humorist can right a joke and leave it at that. Many do. But for Jon, he has to mix it up with people. He has to tell the joke TO someone and get the reaction. That's how he psychologically survives in the same way that a doctor is fulfilled by making a patient better. So don't think it's all an unrequited dynamic. He needs us too. That said, I don't know what 200% means to you. Care to expound?

Since then, shorthand, texting, emojis, voice texting, oral commands, acronyms, and the need to get our thoughts down quickly have minimized the formality of spelling and its, for example, "roll," in business communications. I feel that the order of words and punctuation are more critical to understanding a sentence. (Even if all the members of the council need to be referred to counsel.)

@solitude7566

@V4Violet No argument here. I just think it's better to focus on the root cause of the problem. Billionaires don't exist because they somehow gamed a fair system, they exist because the system caters to their type. The more wealth one has the easier it becomes to create even more exponentially. It's not like if we were to get rid of every current billionaire things would be fixed. It would be a matter of time before another handful of narcissists try to obtain everything they possibly can.

@@Patriot-Eaglehead Can you show the proof for that? Having that much money that you don't need requires a certain mindset, and it's one that vehemently opposed to paying your share.
