Nothing is ever perfect. After publishing loads of my own creations I realized there was a point where the "little fixes" weren't worth the time investment anymore. Only you know your creation, but eventually you need to let go.

Don’t worry at all how long it is taking, it’s obvious how much the game means to you (which is a really good thing!). Because you have been working on it for years it would be a shame to rush the release and not get every single little feature in there that YOU want! The fact that you finished it a year ago but are still working on it just goes to show how passionate you are and always know: my steam wallet isn’t planning on going anywhere lol... the colour ideas look really really good, if you wanted to you could kind of do what Beat Sabre does and have it in the menu to save custom colour arrangements- my personal favourite from the vid has to be the red and black one though! Good luck on the rest of development, it really is amazing getting to watch such a talented game-developer at work!

Idea: Have a setting where you can choose between different colour files, for example if you want the game to look like it did earlier on in the devlogs, use "Beta" theme, if you want it to look like your new theme, select "Normal", if you want it to be Friedmemann's theme, pick "Friedemann", and then have a "custom" option so people can do custom colours without messing up another file.

Suggestion: as you are struggling with color scheme, why don't you create some randomness on it? add a few paletes and RNG it on every level restart (this way you have an excuse to don't pick the perfect scheme for each lvl) btw. love your work, keep it up! can't wait to actually play the game
