And yea ik that top line a lil far fetched but Y gone have to fine two wings for Larkin or one top tier elite wing and Raymond- our 6 D could be ED MO Wall johan Theo Lind out the draft and walman

He’s got so much skill. His small area passes are elite we need to put some goal scorers next to this kid!

I love Ken's call on the goal against Tampa at 4:23. I haven't heard such passion in his voice since the late 2000s, early 2010s.

Kind of strange he ended up with more goals than assists because I think his best attribute is his playmaking ability.
@awood40

Once he plays with better players, the assist numbers should go up significantly. Of his 13 assists, only 4 of those goals were scored by players not considered bottom 6 F's or bottom pair D (on this team at least).

I keep hearing his name in rumors for DeBrincat but I really hope he doesnt get traded. He's got the sauce. He's only going to improve

This kid makes incredible passes and cleans up garbage around the net like a champ. He's got the smarts to really shine.

kid is highly skilled so smooth with the puck he was known as a disher but slowly becomes a dual threat with a heck of a shot ! still he'd improve Again and again his future is very exciting I'm really happy because when Holland drafted him he was one of my favorites from 2018 and now he's starting blossoming very nice to see🎉

been talking about how good this kid is all year he finds holes like no other, he did more with less mins than all other rookies, he has a beautiful game and hes allways 1step ahead.

Here is a comparison that I am surprised has not been talked about yet... Berggren, who when I watch play, looks like the left handed clone of David Perron. His poise and patience with the puck through the neutral zone and into the O-zone, his 1/2 wall play keeping pucks alive and deceptively almost always finding a way to keep possession and make creative threat plays on net. I remember dozens of times last season watching him play with 3rd/4th liners and just thinking if he had guys around him that could put the puck in the net, it would be. When I look further into the comparison, he and Perron were drafter similarly (26th to 33rd), there size is very similar (Perron - 6"0" 200lb, Bergerren - 5'11" 183lb (still growing), there first season of NHL play is almost Identical (Perron - 62GP/13G/14A, Bergerren - 67GP/15G/13A). To me, Bergerren's shot (one-timer) is not at Perron level (but could be with work) but his hockey IQ, passing and holding onto the puck ability is VERY similar. Again, as a Red wings fan, you can only hope Bergerren goes on to have the career Perron has had in a Winged Wheel but to me, this is his upside potential game in and game out.

My favorite Berggren highlight this year was when he got high sticked by Kadri and the ref missed the call so he went up and high sticked him right back

He has some Datsyuk in him. I don’t mean the magic hands. His poise with the puck he slows the game down and seems to always attract the puck.

Definitely hope he's not traded for Debrinkat or anyone else on that tier unless they're a legit, young and healthy playoff performer who can slowly age with the rest of the young core.
