That's real memorabilia! If I were wealthy, I would love to own any original script with hand written notes by one or all 3 of these actors! Of course, the crown jewels would be Barnabas' RING, his CANE, Josette's portrait or Josette's music box! Heck, if I had still more loot, why not Barnabas' portrait hanging in "New" Collinwood?!

Dark Shadows was never a 'soap opera' as such. It was something unique unto itself that yes, was done in a 'soap opera format' being a continuous daytime drama Monday through Friday, but that's where the similarities stopped. There really is no easy categorization for Dark Shadows, so calling it a soap opera is the easiest thing to call it.

It came across in Laura's performance that she was the victim. I ALWAYS sympathized with Angelique from the first airing. I always wondered why Barnabas was interested in Josette.
