We suppress our true nature in order to do what we need to in order to survive. That is, be hateful, bigoted, and intolerant of others in a desperate ploy to protect what we see as "ours". In moments of disaster, all the petty grievances of the world melt away, and we start seeing each other as fellow humans again instead of threats.

@StoutShako I saw the same thing in the Marine Corps. We were yelled at, messed with, field ops, clean the barracks, yelled at, formation, lectured, then given an M16 and we went to Afghanistan. We were able to do our job in War. The command wasn't terrorizing us because we all had a .556 rounds in the chamber. Speed up through Afghanistan and we come home turn weapon into the Armory then all of a sudden the games eventually begin again. In regular society it has become absolutely so selfish. Buy a nice house, buy a nice car, lavish vacations post on social media then natural disaster happens now we are all supposed to come together???????? Makes no sense

Plus, remember Georgia and the Carolina’s already got hit hard 6 days ago and already got to be filled up with refugees from Helene. Satellite pics. taken every 10 min. went missing then reappeared when Otis turned Cat. 5 and already making landfall. But now I am NOT the JEHOVAH or JESUS that man knew in the past---I am the GOD who RETURNS in the LAST DAYS, the God who WILL BRING the age to an END. I AM GOD HIMSELF ARISING FROM THE ENDS OF THE WORLD, full of My WHOLE DISPOSITION, and full of AWYORITY, HONOR and GLORY. 🙏 People have never partaken of Me, never known Me, and always no--know of My disposition. From the creation of the world until now, NO ONE HAS SEEN Me. This is the God who appears to man in the last days but is hidden from men. He LIVES WITH MAN, REAL and TRUE, like a burning sun and a burning fire, full of power and overflowing with AUTHORITY. There is no person or thing that cannot be judged by My Words, and there is not a person or thing that will not be purified by the burning fire. In the end, all nations will be blessed because of My words, and will also be broken to pieces--"pieces because of My WORDS. 🔴 In this way, all people during the last days will SEE that I am the SAVIOR who RETURNS, I am the MIGHTY GOD who conquers all mankind, and for man I am the SIN OFFERING, But to those LAST DAY I too will become flamesof the sun that will burn up everything, so is the Day of RIGHTEOUSNESS that will REVEAL everything. Such is My WORK in the last days. I took this NAME and OWN this DISPOSITION so that all people may SEE that I am a RIGHTEOUS God, and I am a blazing sun, and a burning fire.🙏 This is so that all may worship Me, the ONLY TRUE GOD, and thus SEE My TRUE FACE: I am not only the God of the Israelites, nor am I merely the Redeemer---I am GOD of all CREATIONS throughout the HEAVEN and EARTH and OCEAN. 🙏 From The WORD, Vol. 1. Fulfillment of (John 1:1) and (Ezekiel 2:9-10), (Revelation 18:9,13) The Savior has returned and He or Christ has fulfilled His building of the kingdom/church on top of the rock or standing in the worthy holy place in the air/KZbin! When He came He fulfilled what was prophesied in the book of Revelation and from there it is recorded that He changed a new name and the name of His city from ("THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐) "The Epistle to the church of Philadelphia" "The one who overcomes will be I will make a pillar totemple of my God, and he shall not be removed from it forever. I will engrave on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also engrave him with my new name. (Revelation 3:12). ... "The Reign of the Prince of Peace" "For a baby boy is born and he will rule over us. He is the wonderful counselor, the Almighty God, the eternal Father, the Prince of peace." (Isaiah 9:6). ... "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their SHEPHERD. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe away the tears from their eyes." (Revelation 7:17). "They said together, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the throne!" (Revelation 7:10). ... So God's sheep and the right people He created have come to His holy city the New Jerusalem that will only last on earth for 1,000 years "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐 ⬇️ What is recorded in the prophecy is below! ⬇️ (John 1:14,18) "The WORD became MAN and Dwelt among us." "No one has ever SEEN God, But the only Son made him known--he is God--whom the Father loves dearly."

Faith is the opposite of fear. The man on the boat has nothing left to lose except his boat and knows that if it is his time to go it is his time to go. Freedom 's just another word for nothing left to lose, a line from a song which rings so true in times like this. Weather events like Milton show us how mighty nature is and how puny man is but they also teach us that what is important is people in our lives. Those material things can be replaced but people can't be. Be safe and listen to the advisories if you can. Thinking of you all and hoping you come through this unscathed.

If they have enough time, people need to go either North or West, to North Georgia, Alabama, Pensacola, or even Tennessee around Chattanooga or Nashville.

Of course they also need to pay their employees more because of the emergency and there is a higher cost to insure if they are going to be open during a hurricane. It isn't like their costs during a hurricane are the same as normal operation.
@AikaCraftyCat4 ай бұрын
It's not price gouging, it's supply and demand. There's huge demand and little supply (hotel rooms aren't exactly a flexible resource), so of course the prices go up.
@moa81214 ай бұрын
@@AikaCraftyCat I wouldn’t pay that much for a one night stay in a hotel just because of the major evacuation; I would keep on driving to a safer location and avoid any hotels that will charge $600 per night and sleep inside my vehicle or find an emergency shelter like a YMCA or a public transportation facility or a public library.
@moa81214 ай бұрын
@@AikaCraftyCat $600 a night is excessive for most people; they can keep on trekking for a few hundred miles and stay in an emergency shelter until the storm passes through their homes and return safely home to access the damage to their houses. You have to keep a supply kit that you check at the end of July every year. - 1 month supply of non-perishable food, water, and water purification per person - Camping stove with a month's worth of fuel - Lights and radios with spare batteries (if you have HAM certification it's even better) - Generator with at least a couple weeks fuel if you plan to shelter in place - Flares are also a good idea if you stay in place to get attention if needed - Keep your car fully fueled at all times during the season with a spare can filled as well for extra range - Keep your inventory for insurance up to date - Keep a bugout bag with clothes and camping supplies packed and in your car - Make sure important documents and data are packaged and ready to go - Keep everything packaged in a way where everything you can fit in your car can be loaded in under an hour for evacuation - Make sure you have ammunition to handle looters I know it doesn't help now, but you've got the hard lesson on what you need for next season. Good news is most of it is _always_ valuable for emergency preparedness and will last for a long time without need for replacement. Hang in there.
