since today is kurt's 46th birthday I decided to make this video for him. These are probably the rarest pics of kurt that exist. Kurt is one of my favorite songwriters of all time and it sucks ass that i never got to see nirvana live. peace and enjoy.

dbag0584 You’re still yourself when you’re addicted to drugs - it’s an illness and deserves our compassion. We all are a mixture of light and dark.
@lauriejanes6511
@lauriejanes6511 5 жыл бұрын
jobxn I didn’t call him a junkie - I was responding to someone who did, and I don’t judge people for using drugs for whatever reason. I know he was unique, but he was also a human being and as such has certain things in common with all other human beings. I have nothing but love and respect for him and, with all due respect, why do you think you understand him better than anyone else?
@lauriejanes6511
@lauriejanes6511 5 жыл бұрын
jobxn p.s. I know he began using drugs as a way to cope with painful stomach issues and I suffer from the same thing, so have nothing but compassion for him. I think he was very special and it was a tragedy that he lost his life so young.

jobxn I’m sorry to hear that you’re going through so much-I’m busy caring for my husband who has dementia, so I can’t give you the in-depth response I’d like to. I do, however, understand mental health issues as I suffer from them myself. I won’t bother you with my problems, but I do understand anger, depression, anxiety, panic, etc., although I’m not bipolar, but my mother was. You are right, there are a lot of idiots out there who are practicing mental health professionals, but I would urge you to try to find a good one-there are people who can help you if you look long enough. I’m not a big fan of pharmaceuticals either, but sometimes they are necessary if your brain neurotransmitters are out of balance. You can also try natural remedies-try to eat right, get enough sleep, exercise, have a social life,-which I know is difficult. But you probably have already heard this a million times. I agree with you that the world is really screwed up right now and we seem to be heading for some kind of apocalypse. But I have a personal belief that it’s necessary to go through the absolute darkness in order to get to the light because this world is very imbalanced and we need to rebalance it or we’re all going to die from global warming, if not something else. I would hate to be 15 right now and be born into this world the way it is -I’m 64, so I got to be a teenager during the hippie era which was really fun, although chaotic. Since I don’t know you, I don’t really know what to say that could help you except that even though I don’t know you I care about you because if you love Kurt Cobain and other artists, who, by the way, always seem to be really tortured if they’re gifted, then you’re probably a very sensitive and perceptive soul, which the world needs right now. I’m a poet myself, so I consider myself an artist and I also appreciate people who create because they are the saviors of the world, in my opinion. I have no doubt that you’re special and you probably feel like you don’t fit in with others-that’s the way I always felt-But on some level we are all also One on a level that we can’t even see. You are loved by the spirit that inhabits all life even when you don’t feel it. I wish you all good things and hope you can find some relief in nature, animals, music, art, whatever floats your boat. Take care. Peace to you.💕

There was a woman on KZbin who shared a gripping testimony that God gave her during a time in her life when she was absolutely obsessing over, worshiping and idolizing the deceased Cobain. She would listen to his music religiously, worship his looks and it began to corrupt her. She kept feeling Holy Spirit convicting her and she prayed for an answer. Shortly after, the Lord clearly gave her a terrifying open vision of Kurt Cobain burning in hell, with rage and fangs like a demon. The Lord was exposing who she was worshipping and idolizing. (I will try to find the testimony and link it.) Kurt hated Jesus Christ and went around blaspheming and trampling on his holy name... the one who loved him, died for him and who could have saved him from eternal hell with it's torments and darkness. It was an incredible yet sad, horrifying testimony.

I'm still curious about that band. I played the button and listened to them. Then, I remembered my dad played Smells Like Teen Spirit in which I dont actually know the title when I was young. I remember some kids asked me in the Cafeteria at lunch, if I like two different bands (one was nirvana and I don't remember the other one). I replied back yeah nirvana is good or something like that. The kids kind of had a blown away expression on their faces like "wow" he knows nirvana. I was a toe headed short kid that hardly talked. I only knew of them from listening when my sister would play the cd in the next room, and looking at the cd case and artwork when she wasn't around. Killer little compilation of old pics and one of the best songs he wrote. I was born in Aberdeen and grew up in Montesano, where Kurt went to live with his dad, went to the same school just a decade later and lived in a neighborhood just a few miles outside of town, where The Melvin's rented a house. Kurt was definitely one of the most talented, artistic, sarcastically funny, but an unfortunately tortured soul, which I can totally relate to. My small group of friends and I were the loaner, stoner, outcasts that ended up getting into heroin by 18, which completely threw our lives out of whack. One thing I can recommend is for people, who are ""experimenting", don't ever shoot dope, because once you cross that line/threshold there's no going back and while some can do it a few times and never touch it again, there's a much higher percentage, who will fall in love with it and then it consumes everything in life you loved.

Kurt hated Jesus Christ and went around blaspheming and trampling on his holy name... the one who loved him, died for him and who could have saved him from eternal hell with it's torments and darkness. It was an incredible yet sad, horrifying testimony.

Eventually there'll be another revolution because people will get tired of hearing the same garbage over and over. Or at the very least garbage like lil pump will die out and be replaced with something even more awful. Either way, can't say as though i see GVF really doing anything....im sorry but just because they make rock music doesn't mean its good music. The lead singers voice fucking annoys the shit outta me, he tries WAY too hard to sound like Robert Plant.

***** Yes of coarse (Sorry, I am an idiot, lol !!) - I mentioned my mate doing the monitors for Nirvana during their early tours after Nevermind began selling by the truckload.. Well as regards his death: We both were shocked, like everyone who loved them, but we were definitely not surprised by his passing.. I - for one, knew he would die, it was blatantly obvious he had a terrible addiction to heroin & did not want to live with his massive fame & responsibility, not to mention how he felt about being such a gigantic star & the weird dynamic with his fans & public which only seemed to serve to do his head in.. A great shame we lost such a remarkable soul.. May he Rest In Peace.. My friend told me (while watching 'Montage Of Heck') recently that "Seeing them for the first time was an unbelievable experience (& he did stacks of groups back then) & that the 'sonic intensity' of hearing a 3 piece make such an impact on an audience.. was mesmerizing, to say the least'.. He said they put absolutely no effect on Kurt's voice (Except some compression, which is standard practice)- as he had so much power & range in his vocal ability, he simply did not need the help of reverb, etc to help him 'sound better' than he already was.. After the gig my mate said people were walking around in a daze wondering what had hit them.. Lol.. The minute they hit the stage - the crowd just went insane by the shear fury of Nirvana's sonic onslaught.. Not that many bands impressed my great mate, but by God, they did !!! I hope answers your question ? Cheers.. (Check out my KZbin channel & watch the recently added 'Stylish Things' video, that's my mate to whom I refer singing with me in our band 'WFR' (I'm the one with the guitar) If you enjoy then please feel free to share with other folk ?) Thanx & peace to you my dear.. Rxx

Ugh that pic of him doubled over in pain holding his tummy. Can totally empathize w/ 20+ years of Crohn’s pain, it’s no joke and I hate that he was never in a country let alone city long enough to see one physician consistently (which is what it takes to get answers usually) and back in 1990’s it was still like the dark ages compared to even the knowledge and medications we have now to test different GI issues.
