Brilliant biomechanic description of left shoulder in the golf swing. The clubhead, like people, likes to led, not pushed.

This is high quality golf instructions right here. The attention to detail and your ability to convey a message in such a clear way puts you in a completely different league, Jonathan. Darn it I need to pay you a visit!

I tired this swing motion today. My only response was "My goodness" Distance and accuracy off the charts. Then the putting video is tremendous. Game changer. Thanks

You’re drills are exceptional. Please keep them coming Jonathan. Thank you!

Thanks Johnathan. The left torso move is fundamental for speed and shaft lean. It is very seldom mentioned. 👍

Your instructions are excellent and technical, rather than just telling us to swing our clubs.

Picked up on this tooling around with my swing. No joke, it works and really helps with rotation and smash.

Brilliant analysis. Your videos go deeper than many others & provide a way to train your body so the movement becomes automatic. Great drill!

I love this drill. Thank you. I can use this with strengthening my hip and core rotation as well. This will also help my left foot pressure also. Great, great drill.

Great video on this power move. I find that it is also essential to shift the lead hip a bit forward at setup. Without it a lot can go wrong creating shaft lean like sliding to much and getting stuck. Maybe a video explanation of this if you haven’t already? Thanks

The feeling this drill gives me keeps my left forearm from rotating and my left wrist bent down while keeping the back of my hand facing the target through impact. It has been an immediate game changer for me. It immediately straightened out my iron shots. It was a scary immediate change. My dispersion was more than cut in half within minutes of doing the drill at the range. Thanks Jonathan

This is really interesting as someone struggles to get the trail shoulder down while getting the lead shoulder back through impact. I made up something called the 'gorilla move' where i try to push the chest out in front of the shoulders as much as i can through impact. This really gives a sense of what you're saying here, where the lead shoulder gets up and back but the lead arm has no inclination to rotate and the elbow stays relative to the body. (My trail shoulder stays nice and deep doing this, avoiding my problem of it lifting up. A 3rd bonus is that focusing on the chest while straightening my legs promotes the bowing of the back.) I'm really grateful for your instruction because rather then just saying - do this - it'll make you better, your explanations help be figure out how to best to fix MY problems. You're teaching men and women HOW to fish, rather than just giving them fish, which is what everyone else does. Thanks

What if you would assist your lead arm with your trail hand. Both hands moving upwards and behind?

The magic is in your drills, not in hitting a thousand balls at the range incorrectly.

Just another swing thought to complicate golfers' minds, along with the other 50 swing thoughts currently confusing us all. Just too tough to do.
