Jonathan I appreciate your content I.e., your adventures, cooking, fantastic nature shots and everything about your channel. I especially appreciated the hard work you put into the other camper. You worked so very hard, but knew it’s limits. Forget the negativity and keep on being you my friend.

Proof your yeast next time before adding it to your flour and use King Arthur bread flour. Last one I made was an upside down pizza, grease your skillet, add your meat and vegetables, add the cheese, add the sauce, stretch the dough over the top and bake. When the crust is golden brown it’s done, take it out, let set 10min then flip the skillet upside down on your cutting board and it’ll slide right out.

Seeing you make pizza in your van in the middle of a forest in winter looks so cozy and nice. It really inspires me, and I think I might try it too. The winter here in the Northwest is always so wet and dark; something warm like this could make my days better. Thank you so much for sharing your day with us!❤

You can always toss a little more cheese on top and put it back in the oven for a minute. The residual heat should melt it tom perfection.

Nice pizza! When using cast iron, it’s better to preheat a little before the oven as it takes too long for the pan to heat up. The crust doesn’t cook well. You can start it stove top. Beautiful country up there. I was at Ft Lewis, on my way to Japan and Korea. It was November, cloudy, damp and chilly and I had a cold.

Once I was one pizza shy of what I needed for supper for everyone, so while the remaining store bought pizza was baking in the oven I whipped up homemade tortillas and used that for my thin crust pizza. Instead of dividing my dough into 8, I divided it into four. Rolled each of the four out to the size I needed and then stacked them on top of each other. Pricked it all over with a fork, basted it with some Italian seasoned tomato paste and the usual toppings. By the time the store bought stuff was done it was ready to go in. It was surprisingly fantastic.

if you ever want the nice round domino edge just put 3 middle fingers together on each hand next to each other so you have 6 fingers together in an arch.. pull the top edge of the pizza in an arc down and kinda tuck it in to bottom inner edge.. move fingers to next section and repeat until you go all the way around.. the trick is you do this when it's still a ball or a somewhat flat ball.. so you end up with something that looks like a bowler hat with a round lip.. then slap the inner section slowly until it's flat.. just go slow until the middle fits your hand easy... so you don't mess up the edges.. once you have room for your hands it's really easy to slap back and forth.. wonder if there's a video on it.. probably

The dough-rising pot was too big for the dough ball; you need a smaller bowl so the dough can climb the sides and air up a bit. What's the weirdest thing you've ever put on a pizza? For me, it was canned fruit cocktail, with chicken and cheese. No tomato sauce. It was surprisingly good.

@youngblood29 ай бұрын
To get your RV oven to work like home, buy a rectangular pizza stone, put it on the bottom rack, and leave it in there at all times. The pizza stone soaks up the heat, and illuminates hot and cold spots. You can thank me later.

Nice pizza! Couple of other things to try: Mixing in different flour(whole wheat, bread flour, different grains...), adding mixed Italian herbs to dough(I put them in some hot water for a bit and use when cool enough), adding some finely chopped green/red pepper to dough, add grated cheese to dough. Other things for toppings, I like red onion, cheddar cheese plus the usual mixes. Breakfast pizza is an idea I have not tried yet...
