Please bear in mind, this information is outdated. If I remember correctly, this documentary claims a DNA match on two items of clothing which further cemented an intruder theory in the public's mind. This claim is utterly false.

@@theramseycase This video is very out of date re the DNA - when was it first broadcast? DNA on Jonbenet's clothing has never produced a suspect for her murders, independent of her parents. So the DNA does not exonerate John and the late Patsy - despite former DA Mary Lacy's lie that it does! At time of writing, August 2022, it's well known there is no complete, unidentified male DNA profile on that clothing. The DNA is useless, and certainly won't solve the case. John Ramsey is currently campaigning to have the DNA from Jonbenet's clothes re-tested, but he knows full well what hasn't already been tested to destruction, is not worth testing because it's merely composite DNA, ie not a single complete sample from one person, but an incomplete mix from more than one source. John Ramsey knows the DNA won't 'unmask her killer' as he claims, because it can't conclusively prove that he or Patsy did it - however, significantly it has not produced any other suspect! John Ramsey recently organised a public petition to get the DNA released by police for re-testing, knowing by creating that pointless circus around DNA, he distracts attention from the biggest piece of evidence in the case - the fake ransom note. Patsy wrote that note, to cover up John's murder and long-term sexual abuse of Jonbenet. The proven child sex abuse in this case (exposed when her intimate injuries were revealed at autopsy), is another smoking gun, pointing straight to the Ramseys. Here is a detailed breakdown of Jonbenet's injuries proving she suffered chronic, long term child sex abuse, and was also sexually assaulted on the night she died - facts always vehemently denied by John and Patsy, And their strange responses regarding the abuse are yet more clues to their guilt. jonbenetramsey.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Sexual_Assault

@@theramseycase Thank you - I realise you are not promoting this nonsense, but rather are providing an invaluable archive of historic coverage of this infamous child murder case. I'm grateful to you! It never ceases to amaze me how many people out there buy into the Ramseys 'intruder theory'. The statistical probability of your child being attacked by a man who breaks into your house in the middle of the night, takes them from their bed to a different part of the house, sexually molests and murders them (and writes a 3-page ransom letter) before leaving, unseen or heard, must be close to a billion to one! However, the chance of a child being sexually abused and murdered by a parent are, as we know, scarily high. It may be crazily far-fetched and incredible, but together with their money and status their intruder story served its purpose - providing sufficient distraction and 'reasonable doubt' to keep the Ramseys out of custody! I recently caught a phone-in with legendary forensic pathologist Dr Cyril Wecht, who wrote a book on the Jonbenet case. He concluded John Ramsey killed his daughter unintentionally during a sexual assault, then colluded with Patsy to tell the intruder story to preserve what remained of their family and their privileged lifestyle. It's the most convincing theory of this crime I've ever heard. Chilling.

I think she definitely did, potentially with John's input - I actually think it's likely they both were aware she was dead before they called the police and they game-planned it out together. As much as I hate to say it, the son has a lot pointing in his direction: he'd hit JonBenet in the head with a golf club just the prior summer in a fit of anger; the basement/"wine cellar" (not used for that) was kind of his play domain; the two puncture marks perfectly match the distance between ends of segments of the toy train tracks (which were disturbed the morning she was found) set up down there; finally, there was a glass of tea and bowl of pineapple set out overnight with his fingerprints on it, and JonBenet's autopsy showed the last thing she'd eaten shortly before her death was pineapple. There's no physical evidence at all of an intruder, outside of that bizarre ransom note - but it would've taken forever to write that _three page_ note, and during a break in? The pad showed evidence of multiple test runs/drafts as well, plus the supposed kidnapper was polite enough to return the pen used to write it to its original location. Then, we're supposed to believe they went through all that effort and setup, only to kill her anyway and leave her in the basement anyway? Makes no sense. The ransom amount was specific and fairly small, considering the stakes. The note itself also reads like what a person who's watched a bunch of hollywood thrillers would think a ransom note should look like.

People make the Ramseys out to be innocent victims and they're not, they didn't act like innocent parents would do after finding out their daughter had been kidnapped and they were worse after they learned she was dead, they invited folks over to their home, they passed the ransom note around like it was the local paper, they kicked the police out of their home and invited them back 24 hours later when the first 24 hours are the most important, they spoke to press before they spoke to the police and when they did it was months after the murder and they put them on a 3 question limit, they also refused to be interrogated until they had looked over every piece of evidence and documents including police notes, not to mention they dangled their beautiful daughter around like a Christmas pudding for any sicko to lust over, even if they're not guilty of murder they're definitely guilty of child endangerment and I think John now realises that and wishes he'd put his foot down in regards to the pageants, he even called for shows like Dance Mums and Toddlers and Tiaras to be cancelled because of what happened to JonBenet and his fears of history repeating itself

Patsy indeed wrote the ransom note, and the murderer was someone, within in that family. Patsy or Burke are the two people I look at. John Ramsey tied the garote and helped stage the crime. They all took part in some way. The experts who paneled up on the TV special, all agreed with the evidence on hand, that it was Burke, and that the parents staged it as an intruder, to protect their son. Burke in turn threatened to sue. Everything used to commit the crime, came from inside the home. Who writes a 3 page ransom note, wanting the exact amount of John Ramsey's bonus, threatens to kill their child, kills her anyway, never calls when the ransom deadline comes and goes. The Ramsey's didn't even say a word, that the deadline had come and gone. John goes straight to the basement, and finds Jonbenet first, they didn't set the house alarm, Patsy didn't even change her clothes, after returning home, John Ramsey stated he read Jonbenet a bedtime story, before putting her to bed, then later changed his story, ect. So many convenient and misleading coincidences, and after all these years of not cooperating with the police, and lawyering up, they have their stories together, in stone, and they stand by it. Patsy is dead, and of course John doesn't mind if they run the DNA now, and look for the killer, at this point. He's already lived a full life, half dead looking himself, and his son wouldn't be charged, because they said the most that would happen to him at that age, was some counseling or a mental facility, in the state of Colorado. Detective John Thomas was right all along. The only way this case will be solved at this point, is a confession. Otherwise there will be no justice for Jonbenet.

And if something was clear enough to be questioned at any stage the police covered it up. That's why we will never know. One of them has already taken the truth to hell. The other one still here but hope he will get there soon as well...

What annoys me about Patsy is how smug she is in her interviews, she reminds me of Mitchell Quy a man who murdered his wife at Christmas and he told family, friends and police she'd ran away with her lover leaving her two kids with him, he also did numerous television pleadings and interviews for her 'to come back home safe and sound to her family' he was really smug as well when he was being questioned by interviewers because he knew he'd killed her and he knew that he was sending the police on a wild goose chase looking for his living wife knowing she was dead all along and Patsys the same she looks and acts all smug because she knows even if the police did find evidence that they killed their kid they'd never be charged because the scene was so badly botched their lawyers would have no problem throwing cross contamination in it and getting them off, she also thought she was smarter than everyone else and she wasn't, the more her and John opened their mouths the more they proved how dumb they are, no wonder so many people believe she was drugged in early interviews and if they're right then it was probably to stop her running her mouth

i hate to be gory, but what exactly is the blood from? i read the autopsy report. it was a closed head wound. no obvious signs of sexual trauma. so when they talk about JB's blood- how? i've seen elsewhere there was blood on the nightgown and that went for testing too. it's crazy to think someone could get away with this for so long.

I don't care what anyone feels about this, but children are vulnerable just being kids, and this child was sexualized. All the costumes and makeup to a child predator, is like a calling card.

I don't care what anyone says. The note that was found, and the fact that the dad found her right after the investigator told him to go look around the house for anything that's off or out of place, tells me all I need to know. I think they killed her.

I have always believed that it was an intruder who killed that sweet girl! The police never investigated the theory of an intruder because they were to busy trying to frame the parents. This case hasn’t been solved bc of the incompetence of the police department and their investigation.

Not buying the 2 intruders theory. I don't believe two sets of boot prints rules out members of the household. The leaves. webs, and debris on the sill of the basement window would surely have been more disturbed, if not completely obliterated, had 2 intruders entered and exited there. That's 4 times total in and out. Same type of situation with the suitcase: 2 exits. Surely the suitcase would not have remained standing after 2 intruders exited by pushing off from it to get to the window. Then there's the ransom note...

@@christiansoldier77 from the reports there are an enormous amount of child molesters in and around there in comparison to what was thought by outsiders not familiar to the apparent horrors that is strife in that particular part of Colorado. I don’t mean to be offensive to where you live, but the percentages are mind blowing especially when the thought was it was a relatively safe community for children in particular.
