28:35 pops was actually correct here. Yb himself said it in 2021 on clubhouse his favorite project is 38 baby 2 because the time when hhe recorded it was one of the happiest times in his life. And ma i got a family is dealing with him marrying his girl and having a stable family so that album also has a lot of sentimental value. I can’t speak on top but yb definitely ranks his projects based on how happy he was at the time so for example he probably doesn’t care for sincerely kentrell since he was in jail at the time it was release’s

Correct me if I’m wrong but I rlly don’t think he was happy during 38Baby2. Not only cuz that album was full of songs of him venting about all his pain and heartbreak, but also because he was making some concerning tweets during that time. He even tweeted that after 38B2 he’ll never drop again until he’s in a better situation and made hints at su*cide (thank god he didn’t act on it tho) I think that project was his most personal, transparent project which is why he enjoys it and is so proud of it

Listen to the clubhouse interview with akademiks he says it himself that it was a happy time in his life The subject matter is pretty depressing but I’m assuming outside the studio and away from all the other bs yb was finding peace within himself and enjoying himself, he probably feels nostalgic about spring 2020 when he was making 38 baby 2
