Carmine is the youngest brother of Carmine from the previous game. If you recall he got sniped when he was trying to reload and jammed his gun. He's basically a kid in waaaaay over his head.

And Benjamin Carmine has nothing suspicious, he is just "green" and trying to fight for his familly, if you don't remember Anthony Carmine was the soldier who was shot in the head when his Lancer jammed in the first chapter of the first Gears, so Benjamin (Anthony's little borther) has no reason to be a traitor or something like that.

Just a heads up, you can swap the shotgun for the sniper rifle, or for the assault rifle the Locust use. The weapon you are holding is the weapon you swap out. The exception is pistols. Pistols can only be swapped out for other pistols. Shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, torque bows, boomshots, the hammer of dawn and some other weapons revealed later can all be swapped out with one another. You just gotta switch to the weapon you wanna swap out before you make the trade otherwise you'll drop your Lancer (the chainsaw gun) every time. And last tip, you can drop heavy weapons like mortar launchers by just switching to one of you weapons with the D-pad.

Skorg is one of my favorite antagonist in all of games he tariffed me as a kid. plus there is four carmine brothers Anthony in the first game that got sniped at the water fountain and you will meet more on the way. also when a enemy is down go up and press Y for a exactions

Everyone getting worms in this episode, love all the Gears of War games Also a game mechanic that is literally never mentioned is when you're standing in tall cover you can click in the left stick to crouch (while still in cover)

You got to remember Carmine is a newbie so if you think of his perspective he's probably scared and he still doesn't got everything down and the reason why he has a helmet is because it's for him to breathe better and to potentially not get shot in the head..... I recommend you to think of yourself in the game like you're in a war think of why people do this and other things don't be so clueless please not to be rude.

Something interesting to note, (and this doesn’t really get explained in the games) not EVERY beast you fight against are of the locust species! So for example, wretches are pack animals found in the hollow which the locust utilize. Corpsers are another native animal in the hollow, which the locust enslaved into being war beasts. Brumaks were created genetically, by cross breeding apes. As far as I know, Reavers are native to the hollow as well. And tickers? They are utilized unfortunately as suicide bombers…

That’s true. Most of the beasts that the Locust used are apart of the Hollow like the Kryll for example. They were apart of the hollow creatures until their destruction at the end of the last game.

That flying creature that the Locust guy was riding at the very end before the big worm showed up. That creature made an appearance at the end of the last game in the original cutscene. Remember I told you that we will see that creature again. And we sure do. As you didn’t know as the remastered show the woman and her creature at the end, not this one. 😊❤️

nice head shots. been there an also done panic shooting with tickers are very fast .u will need a lancer with chain saw, so drop shotgun , an pic a lancer when u get chance ,very entertaining an great comments too keep them coming. i fin this level with big worm, very intrense but great games

59:58 Seeing as you like the longshot (and i understand why you do), and tou don't use the shotgun much; it seems to me like you would be happy with your Lancer, and sway the shotgun for a longshot, so you have both a Lancer and Longshot. In short; what i am saying is, you can carry both a Lancer and Longshot at the same time.

Those big tall guys with the long helmet and priest like clothing. Since they don’t mention the name and what they are. They are called “Kantus”. Kantus are the supportive leader type locust Jonesy. As you saw, they use a pistol like weapon which is a weapon that you can use and it will be in your pistol slot. I’ll tell you more when you get one. 😊❤️. But the Kantus are dangerous when they lead Locust because they have two screams. One scream is used to summon two tickers. The other scream is use to revive and heal any downed Locust who are down but not out. Basically crawling on the floor. Which is effective for them but not the Kantus as when he screams he is unable to move. Which is the perfect opportunity to attack him. One last thing about them Jonesy is that they wield a grenade as well. And they are a new type of grenade that is introduced in this game. I’ll tell you more about it if they use it first or if you are fast enough to eliminate them, then you can use it for yourself. That’s my description of the Kantus. A new Locust enemy. 😊❤️
