It's amazing how much more enthusiasm you have for this one over the first one. I've always felt that's the number one thing for any Let's Play. Of course, you've got the perfect personality for this type of game to begin with so that just puts it over the top. i think there's actually rumours of a Halo CE Remake in the vein of what we got with Halo 2: Anniversary. Halo CE Remaster was basically built upon Halo Reach so it shares many of the games assets, enemy designs, and designs for Marines giving at a very differant art style to the original game. Though they make a good amount of new assets such as the classic Assault Rifle and Master Chiefs Mark V armour but everything else was more visually Halo Reach inspired. Halo 2: Anniversary is more true to the Halo 2's art style thanks to them taking the original designs and updating them while maintaining the same art style. So the Halo CE rumoured Remake will no doubt be closer visually to the original Halo art style, heavily inspired by Alien, Starship Troopers etc.

_10:50 plasma pistol in halo 2 and onwards is different than halo 1. Here, when you overcharge it, it deals the same damage as a regular shot but takes down shields instantly and stops vehicles from moving for a couple seconds. _You're doing fine with warthog driving, even in the first game which was the hardest. Once you get the hang of it, a good hog driver with an average gunner can dominate in any situation. _Yeah, I don't recommend the terminals until after you're finished, if you're curious. Glad you're enjoying it!

Don’t worry, everyone sucks at driving the warthog at first. The steering on the warthog is designed like walking is designed. But it only goes forward and backwards. The warthog “ALWAYS” steers in the direction you are looking. You “NEVER” steer it’s tires, that doesn’t work. Hope that helps a little. GG

No, it was okay to me with the Warthog actually... I never understood what's difficult with it... But I don't blame people for bad driving. Also, in Halo 2, Marines can drive it so it's okay for people who don't like driving the Warthog.

Hey a little bonus thing you could react to is the "Halo 2: Anniversary "Day at the Beach" Remastered Cinematic Cutscene". It is basically a bonus cutscene of what the other pelican with ODSTs on it is doing after they crashed. (you hear Sgt Stacker talking to cortana the radio in your gameplay at 8:50 from that pelican)

I can’t remember if the settings has an option for toggle crouch or not. I will say though, this is more of a move and shoot from cover to cover mainly to let shields recharge. Camping behind cover doesn’t always work because sometimes the enemies will go behind cover and stay there. GG and Great vids. As always

Yeah we got new characters and new cinematics, also new voice actors like lord hood is voiced by ron pearlman 1:27 then you’ll def love halo wars 2 cutscenes as well 2:43 yeah we do, just go to settings then go to controller, select halo 2 controls and then switch to universal shooter controller, and in that same settings should appear crouch behavior control, switch from hold to toggle mode 6:30 yeah, he’s THE aussie marine, the most badass marine in the corp, Chips Dubbo you’ll love/laugh at his lines too, he’s the only australian marine so it’s not hard to tell it’s him 9:15 yeap! Jackals with sniper rifles are the final bossfight in halo 2 specially if you’re playing on legendary difficulty 15:34 jonesy whining about the driving time in halo gets me😂 16:20 it actually is easier than the previous halo, halo 2 warthog (or hog for shorts) are not feather weight like halo 1, has more stability goes faster imo and handle behaves better too 17:13 that’s why it was funny to watch😂 17:23 now i always pack my suit mate 19:25 it’s not, no matter how bad your driving is jonesy, it would never top the npc driving skills. Halo players have a rule about not letting the ai drive the vehicles you’re on board 22:00 another example of how bad is letting npcs drive your vehicle 23:46 that’s the same alien standing on trial in the beginning of halo 2 24:28 nope, you should watch after completing the game, some terminals found can even spoil you events when you’re still half way through the story 33:45 this marine is voiced by michelle rodriguez (toretto’s gf) 34:43 jonesy confirmed this, ladies like armor-plating 38:30 that usually happens when you fire 120mm rounds at point blank range 😂 40:56 a marine said that and she wanted you to switch your gun for a shotgun (introducing this feature) 47:57 another example of why never let the ai drive your vehicle 59:40 to have a better glimpse at master cheeks😂 1:02:13 be careful with that, in halo 2 those aliens have the saitama perk, 95% they can one punch kill you Now that you finished that mission you can watch a deleted cutscene “a day at the beach” i think it’s called, 3 more minutes of more gorgeous cinematics

Seeing as nobody has mentioned it yet, the new insect-like Covenant enemies that keep flying around are called Drones, and the monkeys (Tartarus's species) are called Brutes. Also, couple of recommendations- Halo 2's terminals contain spoilers for Halo 3, so I'd suggest watching them after completing 3. There's also a book called Halo: the Fall of Reach that's a prequel and shows Chief's backstory. There's also a movie adaptation but it skips like half the book. That said, the book is part of a trilogy, so that opens up a whole new can of worms. If you're interested, the others are called First Strike and Ghosts of Onyx. First Strike takes place between CE and 2, and Ghosts of Onyx takes place between 2 and 3.

I’d say stick with the lowered crosshair as that’s the way Bungie intended it to be. The original H2 had it lowered. Only CE had it centered. All games until H5 would use the lowered position.

Halo has some of the best AI in gaming, however their weakness is driving 29:03 they should follow if you keep going, the AI is just a bit weird and they like to wait and make sure you don't want to get in (but they only seem to do this when you don't want to get in and will keep driving when you do lol) For the most part when driving any vehicle it will turn towards the camera, meaning you can look directly behind you and hold forward and it'll turn around and head in that direction and shouldn't have to make small turns like @ 31:04. Basically you just hold forward and the vehicle will do it's best to get wherever you're looking within reason. (Also on the topic of vehicles, they share your health and won't explode unless you die, so that fire is just for show) 34:10 fun fact: What SGT. Johnson says here changes depending on the difficulty you play on. 48:58 There seems to be some weird glitch that makes explosion textures square, not your fault or anything, it's just weird and I've never seen it before.

When driving alone, accelerate, the vast majority of scenarios have a wide margin of error so you can have fun going at full speed without worrying about dying or losing your allies. Remember that Halo 2 has many real time events that help to make the experience feel more dynamic, like in the tunnel when you see the Scarab shooting a Warthog, try not to miss them. Oh and the “Phantom” (the Covenant transport ships) were going to be destructible but the developers couldn't include it due to lack of time (like many other things that were left out, Halo 2 is one of the most incomplete games in history), but don't worry, in Halo 3 you will be able to blow up those ships. P.S.: You are the first Halo player who wants to be the copilot, I don't know how you didn't get dizzy because of the erratic driving of the marines.

I've probably played both at least 1,000 times. Also, Johnson's lines change depending on difficulty when he is giving you the tank.
