This is my first comment ever on any of your videos/vlogs. I always wanted to write something down here so I think now Is the perfect time for it. Thanks for letting me start my Saturday with watching this beautiful winter wonderland in whom you life in. There are no words to describe how I feel when I see Nanook (?) sitting in the snow starting to get covered by new falling snow :) you and your family are so pure human beings. I see your vlogs and it calms my longing heart. Since my early childhood I felt this longing to be around nature. To see and feel and breath it into my lungs. My life since 5 years (my mother died bc of cancer and my father got an alcoholic I am 16 years old) is really tough for me but thinking about wildlife makes me happy. People always ask me why i am not depressed or suicidal? Of course I do understand why they think I should be BUT for me life is the most precious gift we ever going to receive. We have to take care of it like we would take care of a little bird which broke it‘s wing...and seeing you Jonna...Being that happy and also having a positive mindset just brings me so much joy. Yes! I love that you shared that feeling of fear prior to painting. I've long had that. I wonder if maybe it's because, in order to make art, we have to surrender ourselves to something that channels through us to make the work great. We have to set aside ourselves and our worries. It's like a kind of death of ego and rebirth into beauty. For me, I can lose hours to it in the blink of an eye. When it's inspired, it's an altered state, like a drug almost. A natural ayahuasca trip. And knowing you're about to enter into that can feel scary. But the more you do it, the more it shows in your spirit. Case in point - your very intuitive, aligned, and radiant soul we all have come to know and love 💚

What you're saying about thoughts stopping us is insanely true and it's one of the things I rarely think about , all this hindrance created by thoughts. But for us, feeling types, we have to stop thinking as often as we can, emotions helps put into motion but thoughts can ruin all the envy. Then at some, we obey so much our thoughts that we end never feeling like it, and so we are in a vicious circle and now we have to put discipline to find our emotions again and we're anxious because at the beginning we never have this emotional reaction, this feeling. And our creative work cannot be fueled by sole discipline. That's my biggest issue in life, this resistance my thoughts create. I'm creative but I hinder myself all the time by thinking and not doing

Watching Your videos is a way to meditate and relax. Atmosphere, sound, voice, light, frame... everything is just very beautiful. And the sound of ice, and the idea that it is spirits awakening under the ice, is incredibly beautiful. I just fell in love with this sound when I heard it. It also reminds me of whale singing. As if you are in a certain space of fog, where icy threads shine like strings playing their own special melody, and in this fog you see the silhouettes of huge leviathans, the flickering of spirits in this ocean of purity and cold. It is an incredible feeling and I'm very grateful for them, as for the inspiration. Your life inspires me to live.

My mouth remained open when you talked about the doubts and thoughts stopping us. Noone ever described my struggles so exactly, not even I knew what my problem was! This! I often feel such a joy and energy and ideas I want to run for but then i am afraid and I never do anything. Not even the things I have to do I wait until time forces me to do them because I am too afraid to do anything. But thanks to what you said i now realized what the problem is but also the cure. Because I always thought this bubbly energy inside of me is just some childish fantasies but if it is this what makes you create so wonderful videos, pictures, paintings and all the other things and enjoy life and make others happy then maybe I shouldn't push it away in fear of maybe failing or doing something stupid. I thought I should push it away and concentrate on the things I had to do but I never found the energy to do them I am always tired and often depressed and I often feel so numb. In the last days I tried to be courageous and embrace my ideas and bubbly energy and follow through with things (sometimes I had to close my eyes before taking the step because I was so anxious) but it was so worth it! I feel so alive and hopeful! I did so many things, I finally got in touch with my sister again and I danced and I cleaned the house and I am so full of energy and hope!! I will continue to learn to embrace the bubbly energy and overcome my fears and finally start living!! ❤️ Thank you Jonna!! (And thank God because without him I wouldn't have been able to overcome my fears just by decision but I trust him that even if something happens I can not fall deeper than into his loving hand.) But thank you Jonna for talking about that. Maybe it also took you some courage to share this personal detail on the internet but in the end maybe you changed my life with it. ❤️

Thank you Jonna! Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons. You are right - we talk ourselves out of things. Self Sabotage. Painting and drawing are two new mediums for me that I began to explore a year ago and was amazed what I had hiding inside me! I knew that I must be able to paint because I created an amazing painting in a dream. You have inspired me today to do some winter painting! I LOVE the ice - and it's amazing that you are tuned into the sounds of the ice. I grew up on Lake Superior and one year when the great lakes froze over, I skated about 15 miles out - some of the waves were flash frozen and the ice moving sounded like whales singing under the water. Thank you Jonna for this beautiful, moving , soul healing message

Sending love from Värmland 😊❤ I love this video. And even down here I thought it would never stop snowing but I loved it. And also like you said we appreciate when spring and summer comes when everything get so much easier. Winter is very magical ❄ It feels so magical when its -15 and I'm out on my cross-country skiis and the sky is clear and dark and full of stars. I almost get teary eyed how beautiful and magical it feels. 😍

Your videos and passion for just, life, and living and these beautiful simple things. I think a lot of us forget sometimes about how amazing the simple things in life can be. Like my love of agate stones and searching for them in the rain. And your sweet voice and soothing music makes my children and I so happy when we watch your blogs. Thanks so much for the inspiration and comfort! Love from USA Mississippi 💕
