I first heard, saw on TV, this kid at 16! Blew me away!!! He still does! Hadn't seen much lately until last night 2/17/2024 on my local PBS station with Buddy Guy!! So happy to see him again & watching the 2 of them was like being in on a jam session where they were having so much fun!! Incredible blues, shredding those guitars & vocals!! I'm guessing you can find it on PBS somewhere under Buddy Guy. 🤩😁❤

Incredibly talented… but what really blows me away is having the gusto to go out, at that age, live on national TV in front of a live audience… and just destroy it! This kid is true to the game, he's a real musician and stands by the blues. Unlike the tilted cap followers who make a sudden hit by spinning a few records no instruments involved. His style, the look on his face, the profound grit he belts out lyrics with screams he is here to perform. We all agree on many things we love about him, well here is one more, he no doubt blew the frigging doors off the Conan show and most likely had to politely decline possible lip synching by saying I can't fake the blues, but as a true showman I will give you a top shelf performance
@MrNostalgiaX2 жыл бұрын
Shit, who can rock the blues like this at 16 years old? Wow, I've always liked this guy, even back then. In 1997 I was like 12 and I loved it when this song came on the radio when it did. This guy can rock and he really gets into it. Wish he had a bigger career though. John Mayer came out a few years later and ended up being well, John Mayer. Honestly, I like John Mayer but I've always been more partial to Jonny Lang's music. It's more raw to me and the way he brings it is just awesome.
