If a very good reel doesn't perform as expected, is there any point in deleting it and reuploading it at a better time? Also, does editing or deleting-reuploading any post (say to correct any mistakes or change hashtags), does that negatively impact the post ?

@@ItsJonnyKeeley Yeah, the watermark thing was food for thought. I usually add a little signature in the bottom corner to personalise the reels a little. I now wonder if that could be misconstrued by the algorithm as a watermark coming from another platform. So I’ve left it off this one as an experiment, to see if it makes any difference with reach....we’ll see.

I think that depends how much traffic your main feed gets organically. It would be more but maybe marginal.

@@ItsJonnyKeeley Cool cool, I figured it could be more due to making it easier to keep the viewer on your page in general sifting through reels and photos/videos which is what IG wants.. to keep users on the app. My main concern I guess is if I want to create a ton of reels and not feel spammy to my following base, then I won't post to the main feed. However, I'm curious if my followers will just receive reels directly in their main feed.

Issue for me is people i want to attract are those who buy original art in the fantasy theme. Any problems I would solve would be tips for other artists . So there’s a disconnect . The biggest challenge for me and many artists is one tends to get followed more by other artists rather than ones target audience . Please advise. It’s been said artists should demonstrate how their art serves their audience I find that also difficult since , like most artists we create what interests us, but we want to make art that will be a unique addition to people’s decor . See i have a page where i make cover songs. my audience too provides me a good engagement but the problem is instagram never boosts my reel or you can say never provides me reach on my reel. infact i see many of my followers get there every reel boosted even after not having such engagement like mine. i don’t know where the problem is. My reels litreally never get boosted. @@shubhamchoudhary2456 I think a harsh reality is that music is hard. I was a fulltime musician for a long long time and it's brutal. Also a lot of people don't watch with sound. See if you can find ways of making short videos about music that work without audio, then mix your songs in as well.
