I wouldn't sign unless they put 11b main MOS in my contract.. during our first official PT test I got 290 my DS was impressed and talked to me for like 5 minutes "this is rare for new recruits in basic" I told him I wanted to be 11b airborne maybe even Rangers.. He gave me a nod and I thought that was that... 3-4 months later guess whos name was called to become a Fing 11C.. This guy... Pretty sure if you're good at math and PT they make you become 11c because everyone else who was chosen said they scored in the 80+ percentile on the asvab.

I like your contact immediately gave you a subscribe. I'm currently joining the army I just have to get my hand tattooed removed I'm in the process right now I been wanting to join since I was 5 and I messed up right before I turned 18 so I had to wait some years after so that they see that I am more mature I'm 22 now and I cant fucken wait!!!! Pretty set on going 11b. I'm not sure if i can but i wanna get airborne on my contract but I also wanna get ranger idk yet but I'm super pumped not gone lie haha but all these videos you army guys post is motivational and I love how you break down the stuff it's very helpful information

Great content man. I came across your videos because I’m looking to head into the army. I’m 25, and recently married. Without getting into too much detail, and writing a novel I’m stuck between deciding if I should start off with infantry, and then try to go to Ranger, and then SF, (“the traditional way”) or if I should just join with an option 40, or if I should just go through the 18x program. What would you say the pros and cons of all this would be? Also, after basic what is the realistic schedule like considering the route I wanna go. How often will I get to talk to loved ones, and/or visit them or they come visit me. Like you’ve said in your previous videos there’s really not too much info out there on this stuff some I’m glad we have similar stories so I’m just wanting to pick your brain that’s all and get first hand experience.

Shawn Wisser opt 40 definitely when u get to ur unit it’s extremely hard to get a slot to rasp sfas or ranger school due to the competition or ur unit’s “needs”
@WiiR3d00005 жыл бұрын
The switched the pipeline for 40, I suggest 4 and then prove your worth at airborne. Cadre will be watching and offering slots there

Just get yourself ready to pass a PT test and work on proper pushups form. If you want a little extra pay and don't mind destroying your body for it make sure you get airborne in your contract. You will go to the 82nd most likely, possibly Italy, but the extra pay is nice. A lot of people try to get airborne after they join and most people can't pull it off.
