looking at reviews it blows my mind at just how much SN PIxel 4 has improves so fast with firmware updates hopefully they keep working on it to nail these last few annoying issues before too and get the sound in part with Xeno finaly ordered my first pixel saber from CC Sabers apprentice line with an SN Pixel board

Great video! And thanks for comparing the accent swing sounds. To be honest I really liked the sharp accents from the SN4. The Proffie accents feel a little like the sound is lagging the movements, although it definitely sounds nicer.

I love TXQ they are getting better and better, especially with the quality of their Sabers. It's really great for people who don't know how to do programming like for the proffie versions.

Congratulations on your milestone subscribers it’s well deserved. Glad you made this SN4 vid as I’m looking at a NEW Stormtrooper hilt with actual Crystal chamber in middle n at a very good low price. Can I ask you if you’ve noticed any difference with smooth swing with the Proffie fonts loaded?

It’s all the same across the board with the smooth swing. It’s not awful I can deal with but it’s a BIT difference between the Xeno, GHv3 and Proffie. The audio decay is just such a hard cut. And I know they will fix that at some point in a Firmware update I’m sure. All these things in this video I’m sure are just coding tweaks.

Great video! I agree that the Xeno v3 Ap is waaay better! I get a bit frustrated with the SNv4. But I still grab them over the others! lol I think my Ezra 2 is arriving on Wednesday! I had Vader's Saber weather it! I'm super excited to see it!

Jon any chance you're getting the Nexus Sabine? Bit curious on the differences between them. I know technically it's a different saber Ezra vs Sabine but still curious especially when TXQ ge their shrouds for this one

I suppose the us resellers have golden harvest option compared to LGT directly only have xeno3 and proffie for neopixel options that is a shame their getting rid of it makes me want to install my own golden harvest sabers since it’s the easiest to install

Nice review and comparison. You almost tempt me to get one, but the hilt just doesn't feel right to me. If I could get it without the electronics, I'd probably pick one up, but as is, it's very low on my list of the remaining hilts I'm waiting for.

Well, I'm going to eat crow here. I just received my Ezra II hilt from UW and well, it's the thinnest hilt I've ever purchased. I thought my Obi-Wan Kenobi hilt from RotS was thin, this Ezra is thinner. I'm guessing UW and VS are getting their empty hilts from the same supplier. Difference is though UW uses a 1 inch diameter blade while VS uses 7/8". Plus I didn't get a solid pommel cover, only a vented one. Can't wait till I get my Sabine Wren's hilt from VS, to compare the 2 different Saber Makers.

The major problem that isn’t mentioned is the fact the warranty is voided as soon as you add a font. This is from the seller’s website. This is the only time I’ve seen a seller prevent you from maintaining your warranty if you follow this video so beware.

If you look at the listing description it says I WILL help my customers fix something if they mess up filenames etc. and believe it or not we get angry emails from customers who add fonts/edit config and mess something up and [somehow] it's our fault they did so. We are always here to help but we can't support EVERYONE FOR FREE if they mess something up. I clearly say this is an advanced feature so if you choose to edit config or add fonts then you do so at your own risk. We can of course assist in helping via support but if you can't fix it we do charge for this repair.

@@vaderssabers The listing reads that if you add a font that the warranty is void, period. No “if you mess up adding a font we will assist you in adding one.” Just a generic “we can help you fix it” with a 15% “repair fee” which on this saber is around $66. I’m not oblivious to how some people won’t take responsibility for their actions or simply Google a solution. I also understand you don’t have time to assist every customer with adding fonts. Telling customers like myself that can add fonts that the saber’s warranty is void simply because I added a font needed mentioning. To me it says that if I have a hardware issue, and if the seller finds out that I added a font that had nothing to do with the hardware issue I’m SOL on the repair cost. It doesn’t sound like that might be the case with your reply, however, it’s there and can’t be ignored. You’re the only seller I know of that does this so I wanted to bring it to people’s attention.

Imagine having to replace every blade bricked by user error. Wouldn't be a viable business model. Maybe you have too much faith in people 😂. I imagine they'd honor your warranty if you added fonts and it had a hardware defect. If not, then that's bad.

@@Twisterhere blades don’t get “bricked,” the electronics in the hilt do but your comparing apples to oranges here. Placing the battery backwards would be a legit reason to void the warranty, not screwing up the config file which won’t “brick” the hilt. It’ll just not turn on, etc. until the config file is fixed. It’s not about faith in anyone, it’s about a company advertising a saber with the ability to add fonts then voiding the warranty when you do. They just don’t want to help people with their config files, etc. without getting paid and that’s fine. Just say that instead of “voiding the warranty” so people can add fonts to a saber that was advertised as being able to do so.

@@justinh_13BS That is essentially what bricked is, if the customer can't fix it, they send it back. Take a GPU manufacturer for example, they advertise and give tools to overclock but explicitly tell you, if you brick it, warranty void. Think about it this way: the customer having the feature causes the manufacturer/reseller headache and money loss. The manufacturer/reseller have two options, remove the feature or have a void warranty policy. It's a capitalist world, my friend.
