I do wish they made it so you could switch which way the shoto is facing. Then you could have a sort of staff if you wanted.

Everybody hates the acolyte series, but I love that light saber I think the series existing is just ok. I’m used to it now. in real life this is the first saber created that can split apartand function but in game Cal kestis saber I think was first to do it

@ZeeJayFett Well, Quimir's is still unique in that his is the first single bladed lightsaber to split in half. We've seen double bladed lightsabers split in half before, Ventress could do that with her curved lightsabers, Cal as you mentioned could do it as well as a handful of others. But I don't think there's ever been a lightsaber in Canon or Expanded Universe to split at the base of the hilt like that.

If you are just gonna use the single blade for awhile, take out the chasis from the bottom and store it, make it way louder and improves the balance IMO. But yea this is a fantastic saber.

You're right, it is a hassle to deal with, if I ever get a saber like this, I may never take it apart even to change the fonts for it, wish they made way to access both SIMS cards at the same time without having to deal with all of this.

There is always loading fonts via the Xeno app but it’s just slower than slug

I had to 3d print my Qimir saber and install the xenopixel but I'm hoping to find a metal empty version of the hilt.

The tech on that model is really interesting. They really made it look like it was screen accurate design. Nice. I think the areas for the speakers might need some sort of revision but this is something brand new so they might see updated versions down the road. Im no fan of the show but Qimir's lightsaber was quite something to see.

I'll probably not get this hilt, unless they make some changes to it. The way they are connected together is a bit wonky to me. Plus, it's a bit complicated to get to that smaller battery. I understand why it's like that, so there's some blade depth - to be able to have it as short as it can be and also have that D-Ring on it. I would worry I'd lose some parts when I'd go and take the battery out. I've done that with my dual bladed Cal Kestus hilts, so I'm very wary about it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they update this a few times over the next year. This is version 1.0 of a very different kind of saber. The designers sure had their work set out for them on this one. They did a great job and I’m hoping for some tweaks for a 2.0 version at some point. And hey maybe TXQ will Also drop a version of this with things a little different. We will see!

11:30 hey Jon you don’t have to worry about taking the sd card out of that portion of the lightsaber as you can literally just add soundfonts by going on the xeno v3 app and you go to the custom font tab and you can add soundfonts by via Bluetooth 😊

Yes you can but the app is so god dam slow i would age 5 years before i get on all the fonts I won’t. It take like 2 mins to drag and drop fonts on to the card. Still no better or fast way to do it.

Thank you for being reasonable to those who enjoyed The Acolyte. It’s this type of response that feels less like hate for hate and more like a fan that just didn’t like a piece of Star Wars content. Haven’t gotten around to seeing The Acolyte mainly cuz of the negative reviews. But I’m always interested to see some interesting characters and great lightsaber fights. I think this saber convinced me to start it 😂

I like his character a lot. Needed some work as far as writing and much more back story to even understand who he even was. Bigger flaw of the show was the writing. Cuz I think it could have been something more people would have liked. I do not blame the actors I blade the show runners, directors, and writers. Thumbs up for the hard work the actors did.

As dumb as this is about to sound. Would turning on the bottom hilt and using the same sound font sound better? You would just have to mute the top one? 14:31 edit: 15:17 lmao I spoke too soon my bad

Yeah, the only problem with that is the controls for the top or at the button on the top. So if the bottom is turned on, it might switch on and off, depending on the movements blasters wouldn’t happen unless you hit the button at the bottom rather than the top so just more work that way. When you pull them apart, everything is nice and loud because all the speakers are exposed at that point it’s just when it’s together.
