I built a PC in the D31 (MicroATX) case 8 months ago, and was alerting all the big tech-tubers about this case ever since. And yes, you can install a front fan, albeit a 15mm x 120mm in between the front chassis behind the removable panel (not on the inside of the front chassis under where the PSU mounts), and the PSU doesn't have to be in the uppermost position, because the fan is on the other side of the front chassis. Mine's got a 240mm AIO at the top, a 120mm fan at the rear, two 120mm fans at the bottom, a MicroATX motherboard, a Ryzen 9 5900X, 128GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT. I don't use the integrated 8" display as a sensor panel, because I refuse to pay AIDA64 $65 a year for a subscription just to run the sensor gauges. I have it shut off during normal use with my 32" gaming monitor, and only use it when it auto-switches when I change display inputs for my Xbox.

Hey I have the non mesh version of this, you don't have to attach the screen to the case, I use mine as a mini display on the side of it. it's pretty high res imo

I recently got the black non-mesh, non-screen version of this case for 60 euro and it shocked me how well built it was, had the same zalman case for 7 years and compared to that, even though it's my first case with this "psu in the front" layout, it was so easy to build in and cable manage :) Even threw in 3 more 120mm fans on the bottom for some extra gpu/psu airflow, this thing is packing NINE Arctic P12's now lol Also it might not be something you think about that much as a reviewer but holy shit, toolless side/top panels are amazing when you've been stuck with thumbscrew side panels all your life.

How do you configure the display? You put it in hdmi and set it as a secondary monitor and then? How du you manage that it shows the i fos or videos after a restart.Are there any options or a programm?

You need to use a program bud! Jonsbo officially have recommended a program called AIDA64. If you search youtube there are plenty of guides on how to set this up on a secondary monitor to show you system info and such things

An interesting design. On one hand, the monitor and its customaziability are nice to have if you keep your case on the top of the desk. On the other, putting the PSU at the front is an interesting decision. It automatically limits airflow from the front. Sure, it can be offset with bottom fans, but even then you have to maneuver a little bit with GPU cables. Plus no fresh air gets to the CPU (when using an air cooler). Hopefully they consider this in their next iteration 🙂

There is a place for one 120 in the front but would not do much for the CPU, since it's a chimney design, maybe the best solution is to reverse the rear fan. Didn't thought of that at the time of review 😢

such a nice case! but i find it better if the creen would be on the side, so u have the whole view! u can look at the screen n inside the case! cuz if the sreen is on the front it kinda defeats the purpose on having a nice pc cuz either u position your pc to look into the case or the front panel =/

You can use it separately but with cables as it is literally a mini monitor, no wireless capabilities

No one has been able to definitively answer my question. Am I able to mount a 120mm x 15mm slim fan between the front mesh panel and the case rather then inside the chassis? If possible i would probably run the cables through the same hole the screen cables go through. I have the D41 ready to be built once Battlemage releases and would like to know if that's an option.

I’m returning my D31. The screen is nice, but the case looks dull as hell and it has only one from usb a plug. Plus some game emulators tend to switch displays to the little one even if you have primary set to the main screen. And zero fans included

Look for a bigger case with such components, I mean it would fit, but you would run into issues with little no room to fit cables and such

Bottom support 3x 120mm fans or 2x 140mm fans and the rear 1x 120mm fan. I saw these on the official site of Jonsbo. It also supports 1x 120mm fan on the bottom front part ( that is if you mount the PSU to the upper most part).

So i love this case but i keep seeing the monitor separated and functioning like a tablet and to my knowledge thats not a thing? id like it to be but idk how thats suppose to work. EDIT: OH MY GOD THOSE ARE FEETS!!!!!!!!! but how does it turn on without being ported? also yes thing case is pimped for fans but i had a hard time finding a compatible motherboard to suit the small size (despite having the larger jonsbo) so keep in mind that can also limit your amount if fans if you dont have enough ports for them. and like i said ngl, its gernously small, i have the ports and anymore fans than what i have just wont fit lol

Fits atx motherboards. That's regular size so why would you have trouble finding one that would fit??? You sure you don't have the D31?

​@@cooldaddyslick6869 bottom 140mm fans with more than 25mm thicc (example artic p14 has 27mm) blocks your last PCIe slot on atx boards. Outside of heights the footprints are more on par with a mid tower size case outside of heights so it makes more sense to get something spacier for more customisations freedom or just down size to D31. Some chonky 280 aio with thicc fans on top might also interfere with the vrm heatsink maybe, idk i don't have one on hand to test it out. It was built with negative pressure in mind but thx to the chimney airflow the thermals are good.

​I have the D41 and if you read the directions it tells you what fits. If you use 140mm fans use should use only 2 top or bottom. They slide front to back so there SHOULDN'T be any issues. I have a 360 aio up top and there's no interference. I have 3 120mm fans down low and there's no interference. ​@@kagamine1993

That's nice. So the big screen is basically telling you that your temperatures are pretty high, because the case is too small... And ideally instead of the big screen telling you this there should be a 1400mm fan there instead... Okidoki.

@@MWcrazyhorse I mean, it's chimney style airflow so the display and power supply really aren't in the way. There's room for three 120mm on the top and bottom, plus a slim 120mm on the front, and a full size 120mm on the back. Really, it's plenty of airflow as long as it's not sitting on a carpet.

aio radiator ( pipe connection point to radiator ) should be always higher than pomp unit , othervise air which you have in system ( and you always have some) will travel to pomp and stuck there which is ticking bomb for pomp and finally will kill pomp and make it very noisy, also will not push liquid way it should. Best way is to montage it on top.
