Fever 2025 is going to be tough to beat as long as they get started practicing early. A new coach and new players coming in. Hopefully Nalyssa Smith will be tossed out in a trade. She isn't a team player, she's a "me" player.

Oh, NO!! My heart sank when I heard Stephanie White talking about her plans for NaLyssa Smith in 2025. If there is any hope of the Fever going up a gear from 2024 then NaLyssa Smith needs to go, Kelsey Mitchell needs to re-sign, and the Fever have to trade NaLyssa Smith for Satou Sabally. Smith is the only trade option (along with a couple of 2nd round draft picks) that the Wings might accept for Satou. If the Fever keeps Smith, Fever fans can give up on their dream of Satou Sabally coming to the Fever and the team's chemistry improving exponentially without the Smith and Carrington troll show torching Fever morale.

Smith won't turn on her partner, and she made a mockery of an intentional assault that could have left Clark blinded in one eye. Combine that with Smith removing the Fever from her socials' bio, and she was already gone. Never to be trusted again. Smith tanked during the finals to elevate her girlfriend's play-off chances at the expense of her own teammates. That's 3 strikes (including the _'Oops! I poked you in the eye'_ mocking video that you just can't come back from. No Fever fan wants Smith to be there in 2025.

You have to be willing to run if you play for the Fever. Nylissa Smith does that. How many highlights have you seen of CC passing down court to a streaking NS? Bottom line is whether her teammates trust her. Satou will do fine, but will she run the court?

As a fever fan I dont get it when comes to Satou, I didnt see anything she did that wowed me, as for NS it seems she wasnt playing 100% and didnt seem to be happy, if she in fact is excited with the new changes and is willing to give it her all than she should stay, she is in half of CC's highlight reel, besides there is an adjustment to play CC BB and it took IOWA 2 yrs to adjust and the fever a whole year you dont want to bring in many new players especially those with egos

I don't think it is likely that the Fever will get Satou, but I do think that is where she wants to play, and there is a chance. However, Dallas would be out of their minds to let her go, especially when they've got the first round draft pick and can pick up Paige Bueckers. Satou is getting cored.

This is funny asking White about the level of talent she had at Vanderbilt not being as good as the WNBA. White lost two All SEC Freshman after her first season along with other notable players. She also lost one of the SEC leading scorers later on who had transferred to Vanderbilt. Austin Kelly was hired by White at Vanderbilt to recruit (2019-2021) as White failed to field a team after all the player defections and back-to-back worst seasons in the programs 50 year history. The only way they can get Sabally for 2025, without trading away their future, is to trade Mitchell (three team trade because Dallas doesn't need a two). Whether this is a good idea all depends on whether Mitchell wants to be with the Fever after her 2025 core year.
