Jordan Peterson talks about listening to your conscience or inner voice.
This conscience or inner voice is interpreted by many to be the Holy Spirit or deceased angel relatives speaking to our minds and hearts. However, often the voices in our mind are not that of positive heavenly source. We can know the source of the voice or thought by it's fruit or by what it causes us to feel. In Galatians 5:22-23, the Apostle Paul describes the fruit of the Spirit to be-
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Jordan B Peterson talks more about God, Jesus Christ, Christianity and the biblical stories on his channel
Jordan Peterson talks about how faith is demonstrated in the actions. Jordan Peterson gives excellent Biblical lectures on his KZbin channel among many other wonderful podcasts and interviews. His Biblical series is worth checking out! Having faith in Jesus Christ is so important and belief and faith is demonstrated in action.

I was in the hospital, surrounded by Cardiologists and other Specialists following a cardiac arrest. The last intervention was to be the pace maker ( a device installed in the heart). I heard a voice within me, very loud and clear, yet quiet and not audible to my physical ears. The voice said not to take the pacemaker, and that my heart will be healed and restored. I refused it, Doctors discharged me because there was nothing else they could do for me, medically. They said prognosis is poor, that I would die in 6months without the device. It's been 8years now, all because I chose to listen to that voice. It was a very reassuring, peaceful voice that I just couldn't ignore, and I knew That was God, The Holy Spirit

I just left a comment talking about how damn much change can hurt but it is also so awesome, encouraging and strengthening and we need to do it together! I just found a brand new church that only has about 10 to 15 people so far and I have brought a few that hopefully will keep coming! That is another thing he is teaching me that I am not him and only he can work in people's hearts, minds and souls but he can use us! I'm thinking maybe this is something we keep learning about till we leave this Rock we call home! LOL I listen to a lot of Christian rap, jazz, blues plus so I quote music! Love you sister and I am saying a prayer for you right now! You for me please and thank you!

Just want to comment regarding the description of this video. There is a difference between our own inner voice and the voice of the Holy Spirit of God. There are also other demonic voices that can speak to us - voices that we do not want to listen to. We need discernment to know which is which. ALL these voices should not be mixed together in a soup.

1 John 4:1-3 [Testing the Spirits] Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.

@@tonyhill2905 Hadn't realized I was judging you. I thought I was commenting on the validity of the quotation. I just wanted to emphasize that nothing is cut and dry. I think deceiving an unjust enemy could be justified. I also think that any revelation must be born of truth, so one is just being redundant to phrase it that way. This is one of the things about JP that frustrates me. He will use something so obvious, some bit of wisdom that a 2 year old doesn't have trouble figuring out. Then he will mix in some obvious b*llsh!t expecting to have some credibility for the bits of wisdom. He does it often, and stumbles when he is called out. I am interested in these ideas so Jordan Peterson shows up in my feed and once in a while I randomly comment. Usually when I disagree with some idea. I had no intention of judging you as a person. Moreover, your work with the Bible has been a new and wonderful journey for this lifelong follower of Christ. May you and your family be blessed for your example of discipleship. I’ve rarely witnessed such genuineness in seeking the truth and, Praise Yahweh, leading so many others to seek and find, to knock and have it opened, to ask and to receive. I thank you from the depths of my being. P. S. its easy to deny the holy spirit if you just understand these internal sensations as bodily feedback just like any other sadness or happiness or feeling of confusion or conscience even easier to deny that it's the holy spirit when you see that two people from different cultures honestly and dutifully following their own inner voice don't reliably end up with the same theological or metaphysical understanding of that voice or the world at large the inner voice is not the holy spirit. the holy spirit is _one of many human culture's_ interpretation of a general psychological phenomenon, and it's only hard to deny when you've only looked at the inner voice under the Christian framework, which is especially bad because part in parcel with the Christian framework is to deny and dismiss the legitimacy of every other culture's experience of this same inner voice phenomenon

I don’t think that it could ever be an error if your heart is in the right place. Where does the thoughts of the inner voice come from? They aren’t coming from your own thoughts, but something far more complex than I think we can comprehend. I feel that God guides you through this inner voice to be the person he meant for you to be. Far too often people neglect this voice, or they do not know it is there at all. Therefor fulfillment for most will never come, because we can only truly be fulfilled if we are living the part that God intends for each of us.

Wow thats really a sad thing to read. If anything, he is a false prophet! A bible twisting, false prophet. The sad thing is, that you seemingly have so little knowledge about actual, biblical truth, that you are completely unable to discern the spirits. You obv dont even realise how extensive the discrepancy of his statements are, compared to what God actually says. Im not saying he is doing it on purpose but this doesnt change the fact that he is a deceiver. He gets many things right but as a whole, his 'teachings' lack the most relevant, decisive truths. Hell is the place he leads people to, it doesnt matter if you like it or not. I seriously advise you, to ask God for His truth, not this worldwise, unhappyfaced 'christian' man..

I make a distinction between my conscience, which I believe is a construct of my consciousness, and the Master's Spirit of Truth (known by some as the Holy Spirit), and the Divine Father's pre-personal indwelling spirit fragment, known variously as the Kingdom of Heaven within, or the still small voice, or Mystery Monitor, or Thought Adjuster. I think the 'inner voice' to which Jordan refers, is variously the kingdom of heaven within or the Spirit of Truth. The trouble is, it could also be our alter-ego, so one must exercise caution when listening to it.

It’s literally just your moral compass. The only accurate way to know if what your thinking is right is if it aligns with what the Bible says. Consider though, scripture says that by nature we are children of wrath. We must be regenerated by God’s spirit through faith in the atoning work of Jesus on the cross in order to have a relationship with Him. We are not born children of God.

The VOICE WITHIN…It is the Universe talking to us…the religious call it God - the rest of us call it Universe- we are ONE..,Our consciousness is ONE. Once you realize it - life gets more bearable and fulfilling Most of all we need to learn how to live in the light - yes there is malevolence in life and yes they are really bad people who want to hurt you - but you cannot dwell on them what they could or would do to you The solution is : “you have to overcome evil with an immense amount of good”….. That is the only solution to the malevolence in life we encounter. Thank you Dr. Peterson! And thank you for the author of this KZbin channel for posting it…

All were given the “light of Christ” that we may choose good from evil. Agency is an eternal law given to us from God. Choose the right and we are free, choose the wrong and we become enslaved. Agency is the greatest plan ever instituted. Let us choose the right. The war of good and evil is coming to an end.

Jordan is the vector through which the Holy Spirit is fulfilling this prophetic verse.."And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. All our experiences, when we are “the chosen” or not, God has a purpose for it all. Sometimes, when I think I’ve made the worst decision, God used it all for good. It has been my understanding, that God doesn’t look at our suffering the way we do. He will be there for us, through it all, as a comfort. I believe He sees it as a stepping stone to the next level, similar to what you expressed at the end of this video. 4:56 It is for us to understand that He moving us forever upward, burning off the flesh! This worldly life is temporal. The flesh, like you mentioned, is part of this life. It is not part of the Eternal one to which we are going. For them, who are called to His purpose, the LORD wants to bring us to a place where we desire and love His appearing, whether in His Second Coming, or in our own death. Heaven is about giving Him all the glory. It’s not about me getting glory. So, that is the point of the decisions we make in the long run. Unbeknownst to us, God gets us ready to enjoy our life with Him, forever! And, we will!

Wait a minute. Could it be that this is god? That quiet voice that is always there that you can always listen to, while still having the freedom and even the habit to ignore it? Is this why spiritual teachers always teach to become still? That there actually IS something that is guiding us, although very very quietly..... I got shivers from the idea and i learned to know this sensation for being a big 'yes' from that inner voice.. i called my subconcious before. Feels like a standing ovation from all of my cells. But for daily life i feel like that inner voice would rather be something silent and maybe almost only come up when we are about to do something untrue like having a fourth beer or watch the fifth episode... that would fit with that other spiritual idea that the moment we stop looking for happiness we got it. Because the moment we start looking we also claim that we dont have it r/n. That reality is not good enough. And because we dont know how to solve it we improvise something (mostly useless), especially when we want to solve it NOW.. speaking of drugs specificly. The opposite of that would be to trust that everything is alright as long as that voice doesnt ring the (veryvery subtle) alarm... i imagine a very good friend, best image would be the ghost of a loving grandparent that goes around with you. Unconditionally loving letting you do what ever you want but sometimes frowning a bit when you are about to do something that is going to hurt you. And if you make the effort to look at the face and see the silent frown you can choose to follow its advice. The feeling of following that i imagine to be rather still than spectacularly joyous...

The Holy Ghost pours out his Spirit and brings the increase in the name of Jesus. The latter rain proceeds the second coming and it is what waters the seed. Without the Spirit of God no one is saved. Believe in your idea of Jesus till the end of time, it does little good. You need to accept his ambassador and representative. So when the Holy Spirit shows himself and is rejected that is the unpardonable sin. To grieve the Spirit of God is to reject life. The supreme witness of Jesus Christ (King David) is reporting for duty. He was a man whose tongue held no lies, For he was the direct descendant of our father in the heavenly skies. Born to a body of fleshy sin, Though what laid beneath was unlike the rest of his kin. Jesus had the utmost grace, Never being wavered by evils face. He was wise beyond any years, Performing miracles that would bring crowds to tears. A beacon of light on top of a starless mountain, Where words of wisdom poured out of him as if there ran a cosmic fountain. His eyes pierced through you with a single glance, Leaving even the most hardened individuals in quite the trance. The Holy Spirit so ever majestically flowed inside this man, Naturally people caught notice and became a fan. Students began showing up from every mold, When they heard his words their hearts were sold. Wicked men put a price on Jesus's head, He was wanted alive or dead. Despite this he and his disciples continued their teachings, Where on occasion they endured terrible beatings. One of the twelve apostles turned to black, No longer having Jesus's back. Judas Iscariot had done Satan's bidding, And it is in hell where he now is sitting. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our shortcoming, However don't be saddened for if you believe in him you will see him at your homecoming. There he sits at the right hand of God's throne, Being the voice of truth and love that we all have known. Satan's tongue is coated in a layer of deceit, And he tramples over promises with his feet. He's a being who is bound by deceptions, Whose very essence oozes with misconceptions. He struggles to look you in your eyes, For his gaze holds nothing but lies. On occasion he will give you his hand, But don't be fooled by his stand. He seeks to corrupt your heart, You would be wise to avoid him from the start. Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love, He traverses this land with push and shove. Now Lucifer was once not lost, But pride blinded him at a cost. Disobeying God he waged war, Becoming detestable to the core. Today he is the ruler of Earth, Though for all his power he has no real worth. However most of us have still been sold, Giving into sin and becoming cold. Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings, Marching to delusion for their unjust kings. My people have given into lust, Becoming robots full of rust. However you my child are the exception, So when you meet me don't forget to mention. That you alone have been granted the key, And before your glory they shall all bend a knee. P.S.- Not too long ago I was very bitter and destructive. Literally I was covered in blood from head to toe and ripping off nails and things of that nature. In my mind Jesus was against me, he had a vendetta against me which I couldn't account for. Then slowly but surely I started having these revelations, and began delving into the word of God. It seemed like my agony was not in vain. The things which held me back eventually began to propel me forward. The darkness began fading away and an unspeakably bright light was surfacing. Jesus told me that he had to break me in order for me to rediscover who I really was. Sort of like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Today I am almost fully healed in every conceivable way, and things like being a virgin and being covered in scars I strangely enough take much pride in. I took up my cross and followed Christ and in doing so I discovered the greatest love of all.

I've been to a few college classes over the years but never more than one class at a time my point is I ain't educated Beyond High School really but I still understand vanity and ego! My own mother had a PhD in English literature and composition and other degrees, lived in a big several bedroom house with stable full of horses and beautiful property with gardens plus! In 2006 she went inside of her exercise Studio, climbed in her tanning bed, shut the lid and blew her head off with my stepdad's rifle! My point is that when people make education, having nice stuff plus their God they are going to be disappointed, very empty sooner or later and they are going to hurt! I left home when I was 11 years old the first time, ended up in group homes and a few horrible places where they locked kids up who could not be controlled so I did not know my mother well. I knew from a young age that I was looking for something and no one around me that I knew of anyway could lead me to it! 7 years ago I was carjacked, kicked in the head like 20 times and received a traumatic brain injury. Because God sent someone I knew walking by the two assailants ran away before raping and maybe killing me! Oh yeah I remember one of them sitting on me telling me what I was going to do to him otherwise he would choke me and he gave me a preview of being choked! Just then someone walked by in the dark at 5 a.m. who knew me well enough to recognize me in the light of the houses between which this guy had drug me! So after they split and I was lying there in my own blood from the hole in my head I figuratively got on my knees, told God I was sorry and please help me! Repent and turn to me! I have been learning about him, praying and praising him since that morning 7 years ago! I am hanging on tight and am hungry to know my father more and more everyday! Before this happened I had been a heroin addict for over 20 years but no more for several years now so thank you my God and Father! As a song goes there ain't no high like the most high! My point is... I am praying that God touches Jordan's heart mind soul Plus! Hey it's never too late as long as you are breathing to reach out to God! Maybe even a bit after you stop I mean God is so patient and long-suffering thank you so much my Lord and King! Protectus all from self-delusion and help us to be honest with what is inside of our minds and hearts and please please change us take us where we need to go to be closer to and more like you! I asked him every morning to use me, please bless me and his will be done! When he uses me I don't hurt anywhere like I usually do! Thank you Lord God for answering my prayers even though change hurts like hell sometimes! Yeah pray for Jordan! He could reach so many and already is! I love the video where he talks about what it would mean if the story of Jesus sacrifice / salvation and Redemption is true and he starts crying! Love you brothers and sisters!/// I would love to write a book, I think, I have never done it before so I don't know a lot but if anyone does and would like to go in on this with me let me know LOL! That was a spontaneous comment like 100 Bros and sisters but....?? Hey we are a family let's do it together

@@SummumBonum. I think that your thinking of the inner voice being the narrator in your head. Example, you look at a car and you say in your head “there is a car.” Yes of course everyone has that. But I think that there is something deeper that is distinguishable from that voice, like a thought that you can’t trace back to why you thought it in the first place. The narrator is at the base level of brain thoughts and then there are deeper subconscious thoughts that come to the base level. When these thoughts come to a base level and you can’t trace them, and you get an overwhelming feeling based on those thoughts, that’s what I believe to be your “inner voice.” It’s when the thoughts coincide with a feeling that makes it distinguishable. If you’ve never experienced that when having to make a though decision or even a regular split second decision, it’s hard to understand. Your inner voice guides you based on how it makes you feel once you’ve reasoned with a subconscious thought. I follow this inner voice and I know it can’t steer me wrong because I trust in me, and I know that I am not going to lead myself astray.

(separation from an evil soul) Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life (Zoe, life together with God) was cast into the lake of fire. (God) Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Later of course l realized how this was just manipulation. I've left church and religion behind because l finally listened to that voice within telling me to get out.
