It’s not the music you should be paying attention to, although it’s beautiful. Listen to the brilliance of this great man. He will have a place in history and you should be honored to have been able to be alive while he is and listen to him. It is INCREDIBLY hard to focus on the material being presented when it has to compete, on any level, with non essential stimulus but especially when said stimuli are significantly louder than the information being presented. That's why the people in the crowd at this lecture are being quiet...so that the subject matter of the presentation can be at the forefront of their attention and focus. It's also why libraries don't blast AC/DC over the PA while students are attempting to study. I'm fairly certain that comment wasn't meant to be disrespectful and if anything it was an extremely obvious observation and critique of the tech folks in charge of editing and producing this video that most people would agree with. It was in no way tearing down, speaking foul of, or disrespectful towards Mr. Peterson in any way. Id cast doubt on my own abilities as a social justice warrior/morality "Super Karen" if I was so harshly judging strangers on imagined infringements that were never even implied. Seems like I'd need to do a little personal correction on my own shortcomings, as we all should, before projecting my opinions into social media forums. Although personally I do agree with you in the fact that people shouldn't be trying to tear down someone who is so accomplished and introspective as Jordan Peterson, especially when all he's trying to do is help us gain insight on aspects of our lives that we may truly need. We are truly blessed to have access to such a great mind in our lifetime ✌️✌️
