Hollywood elites are running their mouths. Jennifer Lawrence checks under her bed for Tucker Carlson, and Olivia Wilde proves she knows nothing about the preeminent psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson. And the left continues to police speech and punish those who refuse to parrot their lies. #JordanPeterson #OliviaWilde #JenniferLawrence

I was a female “feminist” CEO of a successful company, had several addictions and was miserable. After years of therapy, I quit my job, met my future husband and in my 40s started a family. He works even though we could live off of my savings. However I have found my happiness allowing him to be a man and take care of me and our kids, while I am a stay-at-home mom. Love it. Prior to getting married in 1988, I asked my wife what she wanted from me as a husband. She made some funny jokes for a while and then got serious and said "don't be lazy" and I took her seriously. Currently I'm 61, self-employed and in high demand for my skill set. I'm also dealing with serious health issues, most recently a badly pinched sciatic nerve since late July. We are still together and have two beautiful grandchildren. I get up every morning and between treatments for my ailments I go to work to make sure we have a good place to live. She appreciates it and I see it as my duty for the commitment I made to her all those years ago. This is the kind of thing leftists don't understand, or they mock, and it pisses me off to no end.

@@TheBottemLine why do weak men have to interject their own insecurities towards others who've figured it out?
@TheBottemLine
@TheBottemLine Жыл бұрын
@@JacindaH what weak men ? And what insecurities? I'm confused at this. All I was saying is that Noone should be lazy but as a man and as a workaholic I know I have to tell myself to slow down sometimes. I just feel if someone says don't be lazy and then they go and do so much, they should chime in just the same and do something to give back to that selfless person like idk get them a 1 or 2 hour long professional massage or massager chair something that helps there hard working bodies recover. So not sure what weak men you are referring to. Because weakness is not so much a characteristic as it is a mindset or a choice to act or not to act. The Bible tells us to love our neibors as we love ourselves. I just feel if I told my wife, hey don't be lazy, and then she went and started working to much and going over board I would be the one to help give her rest , that is what I was trying to say , if I failed at that then I am sorry, but I believe we should live a balanced life as well, work hard when we have to but make sure to recover. Most of us men don't, most men work till they drop and then sleep a few hours then work again the same way. I know because I do this. So I will restate my meanings and hope for some clarification. Great job to the workaholic man who did so much congrats, now what did the wife do while the man was working so hard ,?? Because I belive in people being eachothers counter parts. Let's treat eachother the way God intended it with mutual love and respect and love that is grateful to both parties. Life is but a vapor and we never know how long it will last. So all I'm saying is people can have expectations on others and that is not how it should be. It should be things we want to do for eachother not out of feelings of obligation for one another but out of love for one another. That is not weak, that is strong. As humans it's best to know our limits and strive for progress in things. And I know this because I've remodeled my entire house by myself and have worked construction almost my entire life, so not really sure the weak men comment .it's not weakness if someone is human. It weakness when we don't acknowledge that people, both men and women are human. I just hope there is a level of giving back to someone who works that hard. The back and forth of what a man should do then what a woman should do is clearly states in the Bible. It says to love our wives as Jesus loved the church and gave himself up for her. And don't forget wives submit yourselves to your husband's as it is suiting in the lord. So again in those scriptures I hear alot about mutual love and giving back . Giving back with respect and submission but a submission to work with and go with someone who is working so hard . I can see the conversation and I've had the same one. But I tell you if there's a woman out there that just expects but doesn't give back then where is the equality in the relationship. Hope I've clarified what I meant.

@@TheBottemLine I apologize. I took the comment about his wife being demanding personally and I shouldn't have. But from a woman's point if view, I understand what she was saying. With men...as with women...finding a partner that will go all in on your relationship and family is not as easy to find as one would think. I found a partner and we've created a lovely life together....but before him 2 of my 3 relationships were with men who did the bare minimum. And it's even more common now. Don't get me started on women. Lol. Anyway, truly I am so sorry and appreciate you explaining your very valid points to me. I assumed the worst and shouldn't have.

back in the day feminist used to bomb factories. Its always been about female "empowerment". When they saw people protesting for equality for women they hijacked it by slapping their name on it. Vastly increasing there popularity and palatability to the general public. Its the same with BLM or any other radical organization really. The extremists willing to bomb or do other such activities are small. People like you are there public arm and smoke screen, and give them the support they need. It just so happens the radical element of feminist has grown more acceptable in the eyes of the general public. Feminist never did anything good for anyone. I would love to be at home with my kids and take care of the home. I unfortunately fell into that single mom I dont need a man trap when I was younger and now I absolutely regret it. My kids had been addicted to electronics because I worked nights. When I was home during the day I had to sleep and relied on the electronics to babysit them, which led to laziness and behavior issues. Now I have a wonderful man in my life who my kids look up to as a father and call dad. Behavior has dramatically improved in the kids with a whole family unit. We are both working but im not working as much as before. I get to have more time at home with the children and to take care of the house. I love it and wish I could eventually be at home full time. Especially the clip where Shia says one of the best things he did was forgiving his father who was his biggest villain. So they find out what these certain people seem to care about , someone on her staff prepares the research they did on these causes and than they write a script so the actor can go onto these very leftist tv shows and only agree to talk about certain issues and that’s why when they give interviews they seem so well informed but if someone was on set asking follow up questions to challenge what they just said it would be comical as the actor tries to come up with something clever to say but can’t because they are only reading lines off of a piece of paper.

I’m one of those women who completely fell for the big feminist lie. It wasn’t until Donald Trump was elected and “the Left” went completely mad, that I started separating myself from SM and MSM for several months. Staying away from all of these outlets was an essential part of my deprogramming process. Yes, I admit that I was brainwashed by western culture throughout the course of my life and didn’t understand why I was an unhappy person. I lost several people whom I believed were my friends during this process, however, I gained new friends who loved me through this difficult transition/journey that brought me to the truth. Ignorance may feel like bliss for a short while, but the truth will set you free.

We were all sold unnatural narratives which were black and white. They took natural differences and ascribed oppressor/oppressed motives upon all players. Slowly as both got older and wanting another child, we realized it wasn't worth both of us working. Now we have two girls and love that we have the family time and life we want. When people go on KZbin, and think that's studying for a subject and don't know how to separate the truth from fiction, then we get misinformation and the dunning Kruger effect. It never occurred to question it, but when I finally stopped to realize it, my mother was always home when I grew up. She would see us off to school. She was there when I felt sick and had to be picked up from school. When I stepped off the school bus, my mother was there. She brought me to hockey, basketball and band practice. She would take me shopping for school clothes each season. She cooked these wonderful meals. She took me to the doctor when needed and would take care of me when I was sick. She was den mother to the boy scout troop I was in. She taught me to swim and took me to the beach. She taught me to ski and skate. And it wasn't just me, she did all that for my sisters too. My dad worked of course. That's just a few things too, you should see this list ! Speaking from a childhood point of view. I loved the fact that my mother was home. Yea and the worst part of these movies are they're complete lies, a complete rewrite of history in order to push a modern political agenda, in reality being a housewife in the 50s was a privilege, women were working all through the 30s and 40s over the depression and the war so the 50s was when peace returned and the economy got good so that women were able to finally stop working and do what they wanted which was to be a mom and wife, being a housewife was a privilege and they're completely lying about all history, they're rewriting strong, brave and feminine women as victims and doormats and they rewrite strong, brave and masculine men as oppressors and abusers, it's disgusting.

Society will never cut women a dad blam break. If you work, climb the ladder and choose not to have children, you're wrong. If you have the ability to be a stay at home mom and can afford it these days, your wrong!! I'm glad you have your priorities in order, god I wish we would have been smarter than we were when we were raising the kids. My wife was able to stay home for about 6 years straight when our two youngest kids came. Instead of buckling down and finding ways to cut costs she went back to work when my youngest went to Pre-K. Honestly it is my fault. She was ambivalent and probably bored, but she asked me if I wanted her to go back to work and I said yes when my insides said no, I blew it when my family needed me TBH. Sure, my kids are well adjusted, do well in school and seem relatively so to speak... Both in highschool, but that was a major mistake. She is an RN and makes decent money and her going back to work added a good bit to our income, but we made it through those six years and could have continued if we hadn't been selfish. I say WE, but it was really more me wanting the extra income. I hope you stay on course, and honestly I am grateful that we hung on as long as we did, but if we had made different financial decisions during that time, but we always assumed she would go back to work. When the time comes though, you realize how much they need their mother at home, so we just did what we thought we needed to do before the kids. All it really did in all honesty was stretch her out and feel like she wasn't a good mom because she couldn't do everything.

Speaking of Men's Choices- I am 52 & have been living with Chronic Pain (Spinal Damage- Inoperable) for nearly 30 years. I lost my career in 2009, but I kept our house as clean as a 1950's Housewife until 2013, when I became almost totally disabled. The less I have been able to do, the more my Wife resents me. About 8ish years ago, I tried to come up with a way for her to experience something close to what I do every second of every minute, of every hour, of every day, of every week, of every month, of every year. (Without causing permanent physical harm, of course.) First, I suggested that someone take a pen, or a pencil, or a knitting needle & have them tap you on the head 1->2 times per second. Not a 'Thwack', just a Tap. Let that continue as long as... well, as long as you can stand it, obviously. That's what my CP does to my ability to concentrate. Then, while that is going on, find a nice, strong Leather belt & cinch it around your waist to the point where it actively hurts. Not to where it is just uncomfortable, it has to be tight enough to HURT. Then, just leave the belt on & try to forget about it as you go through your day. Don't cheat and take it off when you got to sleep! Make sure your 'Head Thumper' is keeping up with their job now! So, after I described this process to my Wife, she looks at me and, without a *Trace* of Irony says, "I can't do that! I have to WORK!" Isn't having choices wonderful? Lastly, as I said, she resents me a great deal because I do not have a paying job. So much so that our marriage is pretty much just a shell now. She resents me as if I had taken the Kid's College Tuition & ran off to Vegas & blew it all on Gambling & Hookers. And yet... she has a VERY good job. So good in fact that she is in the top 7% of wage earners in the entire United States. She's comfortably in the 6-digit category. But as for me, I had a decent career, as PC Tech I was making just over 50k (Back in 2008). So, decent. But the Cold, Hard, Objective Fact is that she NEVER NEEDED MY MONEY. It's a matter of 'Want', not 'Need', yet she is as angry with me as if it WERE a Need. (Eyeroll)

Jennifer Lawrence straight up says her family are getting different information than her, but it apparently did not occur to her that maybe she was the one getting the false information, or that the truth lay somewhere in the middle. It takes an impressive lack of self-awareness (and intellect) to point out the other side is telling completely different stories with the same facts and not realize that at the very least, your side might be doing the same thing.

Somehow these people think getting plastered, passed around from guy to guy, and spending a fortune to not even make enough to pay it back is more important than raising children and keeping your home. All of my children are in martial arts and go on weekly kayaking and field herping trips, I could go on. This while our public schools are grooming our children etc. I could care less what society thinks of me,.. I couldnt have any respect for Myself if I chose to let anyone else's opinion on this matter effect my choices. The relationship, and memories that I have with my children are priceless, especially in the face of the fact that I was put through the foster care and adoption system as a youth and wound up in some abusive situations.

To their credit, they were very supportive of this (to my face anyway, but I have no reason to think they were lying to me). It took several years longer than I thought it would, but I finally got my MRS degree and I'm staying home with my kids. I'm absolutely happy and content. This is all I ever wanted.
